Let me try to clear some stuff up a little, just so everyone understands and can calm down a bit.
This is the original post by me asking when my application would be accepted or rejected. CptHeals was gracious enough to give me a kind, clear, and precise answer to my question. This was posted in the thread "When will I know when my application has been accepted."
"I am also trying to figure out when I'll be accepted. I sent my application...but I don't know whether it has been accepted or not. At first I thought that I would be getting a mail when it was accepted, but then I found out from a guild member that Drayner would say on my post when it has been accepted. I don't even know where to find the post I made. In fact, I didn't know I was making a thread when I filled out the application form, I thought I was just sending Drayner a mail. When someone reads this please try to figure out what is going on...I'm very confused about you application methods. Also, you can add me to the guild with the username Irishefc anytime I am on..just add me to your friends list and when I come on, send me an invite =) I hope I get a response soon, because I'm becoming a little impatient..."
After that did not work, I simply sent Drayner a message asking whether my application had been received, whether he had looked at it, or whether I was already accepted or declined and had not been notified. The message he sent me back said this
"We are in a holding pattern on accepting new people right now. We are refocusing to see where we are. You are not being declined right now, just give us a couple days to get some internal stuff strait and then we'll look at the apps agian. sorry for the delay."
That's great! I have no problem with waiting a few more days. It's totally understandable that some internal stuff might need straightening up. I'm glad only that I haven 't been declined yet. Things are great at this point.
But then I get on, wanting to see if I have been accepted today, and I see this thread where you guys are talking about getting this guy into the guild. I don't know who this new person is, and so I ask why he is being accepted when I have been told that recruitment is on hold. Still, everything is great, I believed either that I was overlooked, or something was amiss. I'm still happy, you're still happy, and everything is fine.
But then, I get this is response

This is when I started believing that maybe I had made you upset. I can see how my post would make a person upset, but I didn't mean to sound angry at all. In fact, in this message from Deacon, I still wasn't sure whether he was mad at me or if he was in fact happy that I posted on the forums in order to be recognized, so I asked him with this..
"Are you mad? I was told it wasn't looked at yet."
When I asked this question, I really was only asking whether he was mad, because I had not intended to anger anyone. And the second part was just to give him a little information, telling him that I was simply told my application wasn't being considered at the moment, but I had not been turned down. I stated this because I found it interesting that a new person was being accepted, but I still had not received any notification of my own. Still, I was happy at this point, but things were starting to get a little heated I suppose. Then, I receive the thing that I hate seeing.

Then, however, I also found it interesting when he told me to calm down. I had just asked whether he was mad. Does a person who needs to calm down ask another person whether he is mad? No, a person who needs to calm down wants to anger another person. Since I asked whether he was mad, then we can only conclude that I was not. Now this is still all well and good, and I can wait longer. So, I respond with this, trying to state that I am not mad, and only seek understanding.

When I read this I wasn't sure whether he meant that it doesn't look good for me, or whether what I said would make more sense had I posted an application. So I was about to ask him this, what his intentions in the message were. But then I am responded to with this, by vitamin.

Now, I would think, that after all the time I put into getting into this guild, and then all the time I spent trying to simply state I had no ill intentions in my message, that someone would not try to put me down by insulting me. I insulted no one, and I would expect the same treatment in return. I don't think that is too much to ask. I'm sure any of you would want the same treatment. But still, I try to take the high road, and try to explain myself, and so that is why I have written this very long explanation, and I would write it again if thats what it takes to clear up any misunderstanding. I only hope that you read this, especially Drayner, before flatout declining me. I've tried very hard to clear up understanding. And even if you don't like me personally, I hope you can at least respect that I took the time to explain myself, and try to come to an understanding with you all.

First off... This is what made me reply to you. So, you put in your application and expect to be approved before anyone else without having to be reviewed, you need to be patient and learn to respect others.
I was not mad, what made you think that? The fact that you expected for us to log on and say "OMG LOOK HES ON INVITE HIM NAOW!!" kind of began to irritate me and the fact that you replied "you mad?" wasn't wise.
It is obvious you are inpatient and the fact that Cptheals told you what was going on in a thread("How will I know when I'm registered?") that concerned something you did after you were approved should have given you the answer the question that you asked in a thread not pertaining to you in any way.
I honestly don't care who you send a message to when you come into a thread disrespecting the decisions made by people in a guild you are not in. It was all about your attitude. Vita is not criticizing you in any way, he is simply saying you need to learn some respect.
