What are the perks of using https://classic.wowhead.com/item=7682/torturing-poker ?

From the way I see it's inferior to other weapons

• it has less weapon damage than https://classic.wowhead.com/item=2912/claw-of-the-shadowmancer for main hand
• has no stats compared to https://classic.wowhead.com/item=19549/sentinels-blade
• slower than https://classic.wowhead.com/item=776/vendetta

So why do people find it worth using it?
how much damage do the fiery damage do? how often does it proc? does it pushback spellcast?

It is generslly a replacement for the two oh daggers you mentioned. Pvp dagger takes some time to get, because rep, and vendetta is rare and thus expensive.

This rare can take ages to find, I've done resets and ran down the end of the first hall (can target him anywhere from there), and I think he popped once every 10 - 15 resets on average.

The fiery damage from https://classic.wowhead.com/item=7682/torturing-poker is added onto the hits of the regular dagger, so it does not proc, but continuously adds 5-7 damage to each hit, like the https://classic.wowhead.com/item=1482/shadowfang with the 4-8 damage added onto each hit.

Sure, it's not the heaviest hitter compared to other options like Claw of the Shadowmancer, and it's definitely slower than Vendetta, but that little bit of extra fire damage is pretty sweet.
