EU+US To AV or not to AV.

Do we really want to keep AV?

Heya Leek! Long time no see buddy ^^
I feel like EU is doing worse than that as horde wins 90% of the time it seems unfair really (127 played 110 won as horde mage)
And it really slows down pops by alot as there are plenty of levelers just queueing for rbg with everything included lol
But it seems like the majority would prefer to keep AV in the bracket and i can't blame them. I like the bg itself and everything (but the long queue times) that comes with it. The big middle fights and teaming up for bosses and individual objectives is pretty cool! So are the titles and the specific bandages and banner ^^

Yeah I totally agree that we could keep AV in the bracket and perhaps queue once a week, but I usually avoid it due to toxic PuG conditions
 
I honestly hate the bg, i accidently joined it today on accident some one in my group forgot to blacklist it. absoloutely hate it. persoannly should be removed fuck the conquerer title its not that cool
 
At max level, it's considered a free win for Ally. At low level, it's considered a free win for Horde. I love that Horde players know how to win the BG more at 20-29 then they do at 110, but from what I understand, Alliance has a geographical advantage on that map and it's nothing short of funny that 20-29 ally lost that BG so much in WoD when there weren't any levelers.

AV is about as epic as a BG can get. When you have both teams funneled into a small, hallway-like area like fucking Spartans slaughtering the Persians, it's a great feeling. There's plenty of guides for EVERY BG in regards to strats for both factions. My advice for Alliance players is to do your homework (it's not much homework tbh) , form your premades , do what you gotta do and rise to the occasion.

It's all subjective though. In my opinion, Warsong Gulch is for simpletons and Arathi Basin is my favorite.

I like your ideas and i agree with almost everything as i think wsg can be a very good bg if its two coordinated teams against one another :> it can be so fast paced and teamwork really shines there.
 
idk if anybody mentioned it yet but we had this idea the instant av/eots were released for this bracket.

it didn't work, there's no way enough people could blacklist it for it to make the smallest difference.
 
I havent played twinks in almost forever, just 2-3 bg once in ~2 months, but i think playing against xp ons makes us get away of that "only wsg" mentality, which was mine for sure. I think now the game can be played on a more casual PoV, with a few tryhards here and there. Now, there is room for more Battlegrounds to experience and find out the winning "trick ways".
I dont know if that will have any impact into the Twink Cup, but aye. Warsong Gulch will still remain the most characteristic Twink Battleground.

It's a double-edged sword. Now we can queue for randoms without blacklisting anything and get pops whereas before we pretty much only could queue for wsg and ab. It also seems like if you blacklist anything now, your queue will be longer.
 
AV or GTFO
I love the big groupfights and seeing ten people get thunderstormed off a cliff. Feels like real war!
I don't think av is slowing down qeues either, I think levelers qeue dungeons more when they lose a few bgs and then a shortage is created on one faction.

the real reason you hate AV is because the map is so big and ur cardio is terrible.
