Tips for a new F2P twink? :)

Hpals > Surv > BM > Disc > Arcane > Rshams > Rets > Prot Pals > Enhance > Rogues > Frost > Ferals > Fury > Destro > Elemental > Balance > Rdruids.

Concise list, better than anyone elses. I have tried all classes, so I'm smarter than anyone else.

I see many flaws in this list. But spec is too much to take into account to break down, so I'd rank class-wise like so. Keep in mind this is not taking into account you having a pocket healer. So don't be the warrior who QQs about me saying hes last. Truth is they're just too healer dependent.
  1. Priest
  2. Pally
  3. Hunter
  4. Mage
  5. Shaman
  6. Rogue
  7. Druid
  8. Warlock
  9. Warrior

I think Im gonna try a holy pally , thanks for all the replies though

Also I hear horde are harder to gear up than alliance cause of their advantage with that eye patch thing ?

Flaws? All you did was move Priest above Hpal and Hunter, and moved Warrior below Locks.

Priest is definitely powerful, in limited intervals. This shines in arena, but their mana inefficiency drops them down a peg in BGs. That's the reason I chose to keep Hpal at the top spot.

Warlocks and Warriors need heals equally to do anything meaningful. The difference is, Fury has insane burst. I've done 1.3k in a global on my fury (a legit global, with a delayed hit of Heroic Throw, a BT crit, and an auto attack crit), which is enough to justify the bump over fear spam.

Priest mana issues are because nobody understands spirit. I traded crit for spirit on my priest, my spirit is over 90 and I have 50 regen IN COMBAT. Bubble can't crit, and almost doubling my regen is worth more than the 6% crit I lose.

Back on topic my darlings if you want to make a class heirarchy thread for constructive discussion feel free.

@OP people grant to much to the eyepatch while yes it is good and easily obtainable you can cant very good gear on horde side with a little more effort.

Roll what you think is fun

Any posts on the hierarchy after this post will be removed ^.^

No, there mana issues are because Shield, Flash, and Renew are insanely expensive and Penance is 12s CD. I'd take the 6% crit on MB, Holy Fire and Penance for the burst over regen.

I'd say the real gearing difference is how gear is obtained. In my opinion, it is easier to gear up on alliance because there are more quest rewards in the dungeons. Horde side, a lot of the good rewards are from quests outside of dungeons so it takes longer because you have to run dungeons and do the extra quests.

And Asif, I would recommend for your 1st toon playing something strong and OPish. Therefore I recommend a human survival hunter or prot pally. Fairly easy classes to get used to the fast paced action in the 20s

In other words play the retard classes so you don't have to actually learn to play the game.

For the love of ******* internetz do not do this.
