timewarped gear BIS?

I am not lying when I say this, I DID see a a Defias Rapier drop as purple. Unsure how common this is. I didn't get a screenshot sadly, we were rushing to finish the dung before server restart.

That said it would probably just be a novelty collectable and not BiS. The regular version drops as pretty low ilvl. No unique TW scaling.

I was crushed when I saw that. Yet another VERY grandfathered item making a return.

for my lvl10 monk the lvl56 TW gear is better than the stuff I already have. Keeping my old stuff tho in case they nerf the TW gear like they did the WF stuff. Probably at the end of the anniversary event.
How bad is the ooze nerf? is there a better trinket now?

The Frostwolf and Stormpike supply vendors on the platform outside the Caverns of Time have some nice gear if you have the Mark of Honor and Timewarped Badges to buy stuff.

I fully kitted a monk with all ilvl 56 gear it felt like full war forged gear last expac then after I did that I went and got the 3 socket Ammy and the 2 socket rings and now it feels like old wf build with max speed and full hp regen tick I haven’t had a chance to compare my monk with all current expac stuff compared to old socket and mechagon stuff yet but I’m willing to bet it’s pretty similar in terms of clear times

They are roughly equal. 8 stats vs 2 sockets. Putting +3 STR in both sockets would make 2nd ring a bit better.
Getting a socketed ring from Horseman would be best.

also i recommend going for the rings with a friend thats max lvl so you get legacy loot and a way better chance at drops

If you can easily solo the dungeon you can just have a high level come into the instance for a sec and then leave, it stays as legacy loot and then you get 2 drops from each boss at your level.

They are random drops tho...this is probably fastest for the rings because they have relatively small loot tables, but if you are looking for other specific gear I think it depends on how big the boss' loot table is. You would have to crunch the numbers for each boss.
