Figured I'd share what I have found with this community as I normally spend my time working on my Level 59 community. Keep in mind this article is in the context of a 59 perspective.
This guide assumes you are already (at least) Honored reputation when you start this. If you need to go beyond Honored reputation for some crazy reason, this guide is for you.
This guide splits off into two possible directions.
_____________________________________________
Method A - Centered on collecting [Deadwood Headdress Feathers]
To avoid XP you will have to mob tag these Deadwood mobs and then die to them, while another party member finishes them off. You are then rezzed, or run back to your body and you loot the [Deadwood Headdress Feathers]. Rinse and repeat this all the way to Revered reputation.
In order to be able to collect these [Deadwood Headdress Feathers], you must first complete the below quest.
• Timbermaw Ally [4,400 XP] (+150 rep)
Just collect the [Deadwood Headdress Feathers], don't turn them in yet. The benefits of this method are you are still gaining reputation from the mobs tags (5 rep per kill), looting [Deadwood Headdress Feathers], and not gaining any XP.
Once you have reached Revered reputation complete these next quests. Continue to conserve on XP where you can.
• Speak to Nafien [560 XP] (+25 rep)
• Deadwood of the North [5,650 XP] (+150 rep)
• Deadwood Ritual Totem [5,650 XP] (+150 rep)
• Speak to Salfa [560 XP] (+25 rep)
• Winterfall Activity [6,200 XP] (+150 rep)
If you gathered any [Winterfall Spirit Beads] during this time you can turn them in now.
? Beads for Salfa [580 XP] (+50 rep) each turn in
Now start turning in all the [Deadwood Headdress Feathers] you have.
? Feathers for Grazle [580 XP] (+50 rep) each turn in
From this point on you will have to complete the Feathers for Grazle quest over and over again utilizing Method A mob tagging until you reach Exalted.
_____________________________________________
Method B - Mostly centered on not collecting [Deadwood Headdress Feathers]
Continue to farm Deadwood mobs using the standard ghost method until you reach Revered reputation.
Once you reach Revered reputation complete the below quests. This method assumes you are still going to use the ghost method to conserve on XP, while your main party member does all the mob tagging, and not gather any [Deadwood Headdress Feathers] or [Winterfall Spirit Beads].
• Timbermaw Ally [4,400 XP] (+150 rep)
• Speak to Nafien [560 XP] (+25 rep)
• Deadwood of the North [5,650 XP] (+150 rep)
• Speak to Salfa [560 XP] (+25 rep)
• Winterfall Activity [6,200 XP] (+150 rep)
After having completed those quests, there is really only one way to continue gaining reputation. Tha is to just exclusively kill the Level 51 mobs Overlord Ror (which on a six minute re-spawn) for 15 reputation, and Ragepaw (rare-elite) (if you are lucky enough), who provides 25 reputation for each kill, all the way to Exalted.

Now if you want to get to Exalted, the only real reason would be is to accept the below quest. You'll be able summon a Level 63 demon named Xandivious in the Wintermaw village east of Everlook with the [Demon Summoning Torch]. However, if you turn the quest in you'll lose the torch forever. In my opinion, the torch is a more worthwhile reward than the trinket you'd receive otherwise. If you do complete the quest you will get the Defender of the Timbermaw trinket.
• The Root of All Evil (requires Exalted reputation)
