Which weekly knowledge point drop available to f2p?

I have a JC toons, a Herbalism+mining toon, both have done the intro quest from Azley of Artisan's Consortium. After that no more weekly knowledge point quest offered. I am suspecting it was a profession issue.

For mining you can get knowledge items each week just from mining nodes. For JC, do the quests and farm the one-time knowledge items, then loot every Scout's Expedition Pack you find because they can contain the epic items you can turn in for +1 knowledge in any profession.

The Scout's Expedition Pack can also contain rep items to turn in for Renown with the three earlier Dragonflight factions. As your Renown grows, you can unlock more profession items/knowledge.

As a pure F2P, I can make a tier 3 setting with 297 concentration.

I only gained 35 dragon isle knowledge and spent around 6~7 hours of mining to level up JC skill.
Have made tier 2 setting x5 before I can make a tier 3.
