just wanted an idea of the best classes in the bracket for dps (ranged and melee) and heals, not gonna roll fotm but i wanna know what im getting myself into

if you could let me know why you think something is stupidly strong that would be awesome

Hunter is currently best all 3 specs kits are loaded but surv is deff rn the best. Mage / War / Warlock are also really strong

Surv is just like S tier melee, great damage output, but the main draw is the utility+ control you have in combat

Fury warr is easier to play than arms cuz you can constantly dish out lots of damage and got pretty decent survivability due to higher hp+ a small self heal.
Arms has a burst advantage during CS window and has more adaptable talents (want burst? Go sudden death, want to be more versatile? Skullsplitter for 20 rage to spend on an ability or a quicker ignore pain)

I havent really played the other classes other than rogue and feral (they are ehhh?)

my 2 cent anything A or below would be ok. they are strong but not as strong as any spec in the S tier.
subject for change list since the only spec that can solo me in a 1v1 as priest went from just 1 "surv hunter with ilvl 49" to ???, since everyone has a ilvl 54 now. i got soloed by a mm hunter now im scared lol

Feral is alright but not S or A tier. Probably hovering around C tier for pure combat and B tier for overall usefulness (good for harass if you pick the moonfire talent)

A quick tier list for arenas (2's and 3's, averaged together). Some of these classes have been seen more than others, but all have been played at least a handful of times.

Roughly in order of strength within a tier. Classes at the top of a tier might as well be in the tier above them.

Healers are mainly being compared against other healers - not their impact compared to the DPS in the same tier as them.

This is going to be fairly different from BGs, but it's a decent enough starting point. For classes that are better / worse in BGs, just reason it out - there will of course be some differences.

as a bg pov

priest bubble/heal and insane damage no question ask
druid can keep its distance, choose its fight and can easily get away from fights
pally shaman and other druid can be place here. i dont play these classes so i dont know whats better than the other
monk and other shaman. havnt see anyone stand out
