With all the hunter rolls it has reminded me how i still havn't really found a better

hunter to play against other than Quine on Hyjal. I havnt seen her cuz i rerolled on medivh (Currently farming BoA emblems) but for those interested in pure offense you should check out her/his toon. Hits like a train wreck, my shaman can handle her sometimes....

bet that 700 mana really lets her rail people forever eh

I would much rather keep my 1.5k mana, 290 attack power, and 1.1k hp than that stack of greens. Sorry for the let down :( She has some nice stuff though.

If you only knew how much that doesn't matter on a skilled player.

Twinkzruz can you link your hunters armory?

seems to be a very ap based hunter and i agree cnt rly do much with 700 mana i mean im edging 1k with my hunter and i find it annoying when he runs out here my hunter im still just adding finnishing tips now hough like arena trink and fishing hat....

Stacking +attack power like crazy, and doesn't come close to those of us getting it through +int builds. We also get the bonus that those builds get +crit and +mana from using +agi and + int instead.

Only 4 int over base mana, so with Serpent sting costing 13% of base mana, Hunter's Mark 3%, Arcane Shot 5%, and Concussive Shot 8%, that's easily over 1/2 mana gone to kill anything twinked.

I guess that's why they picked belf. The racial must really come in handy for that build, if all you ever need is 1 more Arcane shot.

And need I mention? Not hit capped, therefore 5% of all shots fired at a level 19 will miss, including those costly 13% mana Serpent Stings and the Concussive Shots you need to kite.

But then I guess some people have to go for a +attack power build, because they can't kite and end up in melee all the time, where it is of use.

What's the point of rolling hunter if your melee attack power > ranged attack power? You may as well roll rogue, and then at least you can use your bow with the massive crit they have.

The above post is true enough, now that i remember it was when there was leg kits and the level 80 bow scope. Didnt even look at the armory. Needless to say when there was those things, it hurt.

Quine is far from good. I play against him all the time and I win about 50% of the time (which is not good for him, since I'm a rogue).

Well put. Thats what I was thinking but it's nice to see some1 put that in words and that is not too lazy to look all those percentages up. :D

Base mana is not your mana naked. Base mana is your mana if you were reduced to 0 intellect (ie naked mana minus base intellect mana).

I'm not sure what those numbers are for 19 hunters, but I would guess around 200-400. Nowhere close to 700 in any case.

Having said that, even 1,3k mana hunters oom against my shaman :D

edit: confirmed that base mana for 19 hunters is 428.

edit2: No, 700-odd mana is not nearly enough. My point is, let's not mix up the terms ;)

And with the AotH its at 268, with 1.6k mana, 1.1k hp with NO hat and NO trinket, imagine if i had what your hunter had in the upgrades.. Your chest is easily beaten by Tree Bark Jacket. TCS and 22+ int is 32+ attack power from a weapon. With a huge 330+ mana. Your kinda like the hunter i saw today that went for 5/5 Fang for the 10 int bonus..

Why exactly are you bumping this and what comments do you expect?

Off-topic: with utmost respect to you as a poster Twinkzruz, that avatar of yours... I want to punch it.

Quine has a really bad build. If you want to stack AP, there's no excuse for not getting Careful Aim. From there, stack Int and AP and Agility. And I'll nitpick some more:

+7 int to her bracers would be better (and, really, Mindthrust is great too.)

Missing 2 AP from her chest

A twisted chanter's staff with +22 int that she would have equipped before switching to that nice axe.

gloves should be Falcon

Screecher Belt adds one less AP but gives an extra 75 mana

missing 42 armor from her pants

Rings should be Lavishly Jeweled Ring and 3/3 Falcon

Glyph of Raptor Strike? really?

This guy is doing it right:
