This bracket.

Don't get me wrong, I love the insta pops. but some part of me kinda of hates going into that bg. it's bad enough i'm playing a warrior in this brac. but every match the alliance will kill people in mid for 5 minutes before they all mount there mountz and then head to are graveyard to farm us for 20 minutes straight. and don't even get me started about the hunter's on the alliance side.

All I'm saying is that if the alliance or horde are graveyard farming can you please keep spam in the battleground chat or go up to them at the gy and keep spamming: STOP FARMING THE GY'S YOU ARTARD.

and yes, I do have wrecking ball on my warr. check sign below.

EDIT: and yes, I am an orc female.

All I am able to say to this is; if you ever see me and/or a 5-man Aerie Peak premade facing you across the Gulch, you can be -assured- that at least 5 of your opponents will be actively discouraging and working against campers. The Aerie Peak Strike Force apparently has gained some notoriety on the Alliance side, based on the number of times we hear "Yay AP is here" or people greeting us by name. They understand that we mean business and that we do not tolerate graveyard farming. It is really the best that we can do to slowly discourage graveyard farming. Just continue to be awesome, and continue to impress upon the puggers that graveyard farming is not honorable.

trust me. anytime i see GY campers and / or 24s, i give em the lessons that need to be learned, but their heads are thick and don't take the information in.

There are ways to discourage GY farming depending on what side you are on. If you are on the receiving end, just ask your team to walk away from the spirit rezzer and you will not be rezzed. If your whole team does this eventually the farmers will go away. Or, if you are on the giving side don't encourge the farmers. I personally have just stopped healing GY farmers. Hopefully with these tactics they will get the drift.

So far I have been involved in shoving 3 aerie peak alliance 4-5 mans out of the horde GY so i call bullshit and I'm going to start taking SS of it when it happens.

They cheer at you because they know they have a good chance to get in some Gy farming.

I have been accused of GY Farming already, when I have never done it intentionally. Our FC comes out of tunnel and I am with them, and horde come from their GY right to us. I start to fend them off and end up fighting right in front of GY. I'm not farming by any means, simply trying to protect my FC. I know this has happened to plenty of us AP players, and again we are the ones discouraging GY Farming.

At the start of every WSG I enter, whether with a group of AP players or solo (/shudder), I will say in /bg to just get caps and focus on winning and re-queuing, NOT GY farming. We all do it from what I am aware of, in an attempt to keep people in the bracket.

There are going to be farmers/jerks/idiots on both sides no matter what. We try our best to keep them from our games, but there is nothing we can do to stop them. We won't heal them, we'll tell them to stop and just get flags, but nothing we can physically do.

Do what the others have suggested and don't rez. You may lose, but you would have lost anyway if you are being farmed so heavily. Don't give them the satisfaction of extra HKs.

Here is what typically happens, me and megumi and or kaywhyjelly zone into a game in progress with 10-15 minutes left two capped by the alliance the alliance has their hunters above the gy and healers and melee below it most of our team has already stopped rezzing, we kill the idiot alliance huntards with their eye patches of shame above the gy and then wipe the ones under it, force them back across the field and do our best to screen whatever fc we have, many times I myself have to be that fc.

Funny thing once we get the first counter cap the AP 20s start afking out.

I've never seen this happen in any BG i've been in, even without entering with 3-4 other AP players. Not sure who you are running into, but I would bet it's no one from this community. Do you have any names of these groups that played this way?

Also, I find it hard to believe anyone would AFK out after 1 counter cap. If they were able to 2 cap then farm, I feel that they wouldn't just quit when they get 1 flag capped on them.

I think he is talking about yesterday we all afk in a battleground but the situation was different from what he said we was all being camped by a lvl 24 premade and we didnt have any caps and none of us was camping their GY to my knowledge since we couldnt even get out of our GY.

If you are talking about two craptacularly geared 24's (hunter and a mage) supported by a 23 resto shaman yeah that was us, but we haven't camped the gy yet, not even when doing so was a good choice objectively.

Boring in and killing an efc by disengaging on top of her for the raptor strike/skill comand kill and out clicking the 6 alliance there in front of the RH is not camping the gy btw. I did that and paid the price (died) in another game that two of the AP alliance afked out of, it had been 2-0 alliance before me and megumi (24 warlock) joined up, we won it 2-2.

The only name that stuck in my mind was foxy a priest, seems to enjoy healing lvl 24 warriors farming true trial account horde in the gy. Anyway as i said ill start taking SS, but i only get in against AP late at night probably because I'm on a different bg than them..

I stand by what I said. Myself and the people I regularly run with actively discourage graveyard camping. We have opening macros we use in which we make it clear that we are running the flag. I believe part of the actual text of my macro is "there is much honor in quick caps and re-queues".

They cheer at you because they know they have a good chance to get in some Gy farming.

Normally I don't take kindly to an implied besmirching of my honor, but I suspect you are trolling for a conflagration and I've no intention of giving that satisfaction. I know the reason why they cheer at us, and I know it is the same reason that we have seen such an influx recently, especially on Alliance side, of people joining Aerie Peak. We are making a difference through positive, sportsmanlike gameplay and having fun while maintaining honor. That is something that a 24, inherently, cannot offer. I see the gaslighting you're doing, painting the 24s as the saviors of the bracket, protecting the innocent trialers from the big bad twinks. You really aren't fooling anyone with that.

I think you should all just GY camp them before they can GY camp you (but only target the 24s?)... I usually stay out of this bracket's forum, but GY camping really gets on my nerves and I wish there was a tangible thing we could do about it...

The funny thing is it really does pays more honor to cap fast and get a rollfest over with and get into another (potentially competitive) game than it does to farm the gy for 20 minutes after two fast caps. Kinda makes me wonder about those that farm the gy, are they stupid or do they realy enjoy it. I only enjoyed it back in the day when i was in against a twink guild that was well known for gy camping, just about all of those guilds were trash so the respectable twink guilds would camp them until they afked.

GY campign in this bracket is a vicious cycle, "I got gy camped so im gona camp them the next chance i get!1!!!1!!" type thing going on.

See i don't have a problem with YOU or the particular group YOU roll with, but you implied that no 5 man from aerie peak GY camps

and that's dead wrong. I know because i have driven them out of the gy in several games i came into down 2 caps or similar.

So please learn to read learn to understand what you yourself have posted and said and spare me the "You insult MY HONOR" baloney.

I'm here to roll my face across the keyboard and have fun, but the horde seem to think I'm some kind of a savior based on how they respond when i get in games.

The core AP Alli are quite honorable and never camp. I don't have names, but I have seen some newcomers do it. Usually, before they have been "taught" that there is a better way.

This, we bring the new kids in and show them how quick we can win and get more honor than if we were farming, they quickly learn that its not beneficial to GY camp, if you and your crappy geared 24's and a 23 drove them out of the GY it wasnt us:

1: Because i dont think 2 24s and a 23 could drive a core 5 man anywhere.

and 2: only reason we would be at the GY is if we took the flag that way anyways.

Edit: Didnt mean to offend you by saying crappy geared 24's, you said they were crappy geared yourself so i was just re-stating that fact

This, and thank you Beef for the support. Miss you, by the way.

Basically, our marketing campaign has been successful enough that we're getting new people on AP faster than we can fully inculcate them into the "no dishonor" mantra of Aerie Peak, and if you experienced less than AP's best, I personally apologize for that experience. As I said before, I'm just one person, and I don't actually have any authority or influence or sway over my fellow Alliance players other than my good name and hopefully a good example. If you do see Aerie Peak people camping the graveyard, DO let me know. I can't promise that I can do a single darn thing about it, but I would at least try.

I played 10 bgs and counting today, and, I'd say 8 out of em were just camping hunters/pallies, 2 of them were wins b/c of 24's. It's retarded, sitting at the gy for 30 minutes, only to get 6 honor. I hope the word gets spread quickly, cause I don't see how killing the team that already lost could be fun for anyone unless you have emotional problems.

This was a char on horde side.
