My lvl 20 ret has gotten a couple 12-13k execution sentences on some invasion bosses

it's all good, your versatility will never be this high in BGs, although it is a nice hit.

It's not only versatility or buffs. That it's a legion invasion boss means a lot. I do much more damage when doing invasions than when killing other stuff at 22(which I believe boss scales to, your level +3)
