Thinking of re-activating my account..

Hey guys, new member here. I'm thinking of coming back after more than a year out of wow.. but would like to find some people to play with first. I'd mainly be interested in 70's twinking (more interested in rated bgs than arenas- facerolling on keyboard works better in bgs it seems).



I wouldn't mind transferring out to a server with a very active 70s rated bg's guild but would much prefer to stay on Cenarius as I have a lot of gold there plus multiple 70 twinks.



Hoping to hear from 1-2 active players. The more, the better.

I suggest you check the Guild Sticky list in the 70's section, there are several very well known guilds on the american servers and you might be interested in joining them, some of them run Rated Battlegrounds and have some of the best players around.



My personal suggestion goes to Nerd Cleave and Retro.

Honestly though, I'm hoping to find 2-3 people to join me on Cenarius. Moving the gold will be a royal pain and transferring 3 toons isn't cheap.

Tell me about it, moved 4 of my toons over to join a guild who disbanded after 1 month and half, and i had to re-transfer them over to the original server.



Cost = 160 euro

Profit = noone.



Happyness = lowered.

if your goal is rbg im not sure what youd accomplish by getting 2-3 xfers

better to xfer to an established guild that you know will let you in their rbg team imo. just make sure you are cleared when you app or talk to them...dont wanna waste the money. but it'd be a heck of a lot easier to xfer a toon or two than try and start your own guild from scratch

Haha, couldn't have said it any better!

My goal is RBGs but I don't mind doing regular BGs with a few regulars. Who knows, some of the twink guilds on my battlegroup might see me and offer a spot in their team. Honestly, I just want to have fun and I think I'll have the most fun in the server I'm familiar with.

Honestly, with the new expansion on it's way.. I've cancelled my subscription and am now using an F2P twink.

Totally agree with you there. Not a fan of the Panda expansion. When I first saw the ad, I thought it was April 1.



I'd F2P too, but I can't stand not having any gold and being unable to farm the AH! Oddly, that's actually one of my favorite things to do in wow. If only I could translate my AH success with the stock market!

Sigh.. decided to bite the bullet and re-activate my account but my check card was expired for over a year! Playing wow from abroad is not so easy..
