It's certainly a decent amount, but no, it's nothing crazy. I've been casual for quite a while, but was gold capped from BC up until early Cata. Currently have about 8 mil spread out.

It's pretty easy if you have a decent sum to start with to play the AH, farm transmog gear, etc. I made most of mine doing GDKPs for years, though.
