    Luminous Pearl quest is available at lvl 20
    • Complete the "Bigger Fish to Fry" achievement with a high-level character
    • 100 Legion Fishing Points
    • lorewalking Go fishing at Suramar Fishing Point，Catch the quest item Luminous Pearl
    • Level limit Go back to lorewalker-cho, exit lorewalking , and you can accept the quest near lorewalker-cho.
    • Complete the quest to get the fishing artifact.
    NOT found a way to granting artifact power.
     
    visit Akule Riverhorn, Corbyn, Ilyssia of the Waters, Impus, Keeper Raynae, or Sha’leth to earn reputation and explore the new rewards they have to offer, and ultimately earn the Fisherfriend of the Isles achievement to unlock a new alternate appearance for your Underlight Angler artifact fishing pole.

    True, but it's a good step in the right direction. Who knows, maybe the next patch will break something else and open another avenue? That once sounded like a longshot, but lately it seems plausible.
     
    Did some brainstorming on this, but while I can theorize ways to get the fish into our bag, the problem of level lock keeps presenting a wall. Either I'm overlooking something, or we'd need some serious shenanigans to get it done currently.
     
    can be done on a F2P acct if it is linked to a main acct with Bigger Fish to Fry achievement

    100 legion fishing is not needed, just be trained in legion fishing and head to suramar, you can get the pearl before 100.

    as mentioned by OP, be in LW, exit LW once you have the pearl to get the quest item to work, you will not have to go back into LW because everything from then on will scale to you

    nat pagle was not appearing, i flew out of dalaran into great sea then returned, he appeared at margoss's retreat as i flew back
     
    yes you can use various fishing lines to enchance +fishing

    the other day i discovered https://www.wowhead.com/item=19971/high-test-eternium-fishing-line is broken, i have various poles with this and it currently adds nothing, i check various players and times, i have some poles with +1 lines from westfall and the +1 adds to the +fishing, i have the required classic fishing on the STV +14 pole both acquired winning or 2nd place on sunday fishing contest

    i have some high levels that have the +4 line from WOD and the +6 from argus rare, both are level gated, not subbed so i have no clue if those are still working, there is a +3 line from BC and wotlk

    i have not bothered doing a bug report on wow forums

    the eterium line only adds +5 in northrend :(
     
    only +5 is what it is supposed to add to your type of fishing pole and was working everywhere, i checked in classic, SL, WOD, legion, and northrend. the line adds nothing. in SL time not in LW, should not matter

    my vendor +5 pole used to show +10 now +5 only, the BFA pole and Legion art pole used to show +20 now are only +15
