The Road Ahead...

I guess it depends on what you mean by better. Ally pugs (from my experience) tends to be made up of whiny hunters who are there to farm and insist hunters aren't overpowered. Horde tends to be made up of actual new players that seem to have a much better attitude, although they lose much more.

Overall I prefer pugging on horde.

Better is better. Attitudes were not in the mix. I too prefer Horde as it is more of a challenge even as a "class crutching 24" for running into 4-7 ally hunters game in and game out backed by networked healers is no cake walk. The Horde players are geared terribly but are coachable and have no idea how to camp a gy let alone win a debate to do it. Allies generally have better teamwork out of the box but are so focused on getting to the Horde graveyard you can run behind them for flag caps. I wonder if they assume wins that were really losses just because they out DPS, heal and often get more honor...

Alright bfd i misspelled a word and misguessed its origin. I suppose i'm an illiterate now? Is this really what you want this thread to be about? The point is this: when you roll into a wsg with a 24 sub, surv, hpally, disc and ret you are NOT supporting the new players on EITHER side, nor are you encouraging any lines of communication. The fact of yhe matter is that no matter how cooperative, compotent and geared those allies are, they don't stand a chance. Theyre about to either endure the most (and you wouldnt understand this feeling) depressingly hopeless match, or theyre about to endure a 15 min debuff. What so you think when a new ally toon seea one of your premades? 'Oh look its critster and his gang! Oh wow! Im just thrilled that ill get to fight such great, even competition! This ia gonna be a blast!' New players probably despise you nearly as much as i do, bruhskiez. And on horde side, what do you do? You keep them from being camped, and that is your one redeeming quality. However, i have literally entered 2 back-to-back horde pugs where the general sentiment was to not bother trying until they pugged into a 24 premade. The fact of the matter is that your crutch is simply too much to beat with that premade lineup, or frankly even alone. You carry the horde, and what good does that do them? And finally, are you REALLY going tp justify playing a 24 horde by sayinfg all the backpedalimg int-stackimg 20 hunters ally side are just too much for you? Making another problem doesnt solve the first problem. Oh and yes, i do suck at typing on mah phone, thanks.

Nobodies lying as to why they went 24.Also you don't have to admit/justify your reasons, we can all see what sort of player you are by your screenshot collection. You're a baddie. One of those scumbag who will sabotage their own team for personal gratification. You are every single thing wrong with this bracket. This thread is mainly directed at people like you, and oh look, it went completely over your head.Maybe cos it's so far up your own ass.

I hope that they think "maybe I should upgrade because I really want to defeat Critster and his gang."

The 20 - 24 bracket was around before f2ps, and it will be around long after Blizzard cancels its f2p program.

If you mean the bracket was around with 6 hour queues and/or needing to schedule a match once a week..................................then yes, the bracket was around.

So you're saying basically also then, (this won't happen, just as an example) if Blizzard raises the Unlimited trial to level 25, this bracket would be unaffected?

The 20-24 bracket would be dead, 25-29 would get instant queues (no longer needing to schedule fights once a week on the Blizzard forums). Then, all the 24's will level to 29, claiming "this is our bracket, we were here before you".

Neither of us knows what would happen. I certainly like the instapops, so maybe I would switch brackets.

I remember when I first twinked at 24. I rolled in and asked a guildie why some of the players had turned their XP off at 20. "F2ps," he said. I had no idea what he was talking about.

If they made f2p up to 24, I would still roll 24s.

There absolutely not 24 twinks "long" before f2ps. There were actually probably no 24 twinks before f2ps came in. Before the bracket split it was 20-29 bracket. And there were defintely no 24s around then.

OK nothing against you, but I'm getting tired of seeing complaining about 24s in every single post/thread that crit makes. Seeing this shit over and over makes me sick. We get it, apparently you don't like 24s or crit. You can let it rest.

I played with crit ingame the other day, he's a respectable guy. Quit hating.

@marz rider

its not what he doesnt like crit, its what lets say
licholas comes in with his little f2p 20 premade...and faces critster with his 5 24 pallies/rouges/hunters/priests
You know their vasji premade is gonna get facerolled just like i and that honeybadger alexandraza premade rolled your ap premade the other day ago.

Hey, Royal here.

Just joined the ranks of HI this week. Thought I'd put my two-cents in here.

I can't speak for everyone, just based on what I've experienced. There's a lot of rabble about 20s vs 24s, horde vs alliance etc etc. The fact is, none of the complaining about hunters, 24s, alliance, premades or crutches are constructive. People will continue to play as they wish, and if its within the game's rules then I say go for it. The 20-24 community should turn its attention to outing cheaters who are exploiting with gems and hacks, not people who are playing the game in an honest manner with integrity.

I can speak for HI, and say that Crit and other leaders of the guild are very on-top of making sure that if we have an out-standing advantage over the opposing team that we power through those 3 caps as fast as possible, so that we don't discourage the alliance from requeueing. You can't expect us to gimp ourselves, or AFK out if the other teams class/level make-up isn't on par with ours, however it is perfectly reasonable for you to expect us to respectfuly play very objective based in order to end the game fast so that you may queue up and find a more balanced opposition without too much pain.

I'm going to end here as typing on my phone is slow, and I am about to go for dinner, I hope my message has some meaning to the community.

I gave up long ago thinking that you can win everyone over. There will always be people that want to believe the worst, no matter what you do. The way I see it is that Alliance 20's enjoyed a strong advantage over the Horde. They of course don't want that to change as they have to suffer much longer queues having chosen winning over short queue times. With so much invested I too would be depressed to see me and my 24 army.

Anyone suggesting that Alliance versus Horde at 20 was fair is either ignorant or a liar. As it is Horde is at a disadvantage @ 24, albeit not as distinct, darkflight driuds, gnomes popping deathrays every 5 minutes, shadowmelding...etc. There is a reason so many players have chosen to go Alliance and it is NOT the queue times.

Bottom line is we can repeat ourselves and chase tails till we fall down and some will still refuse to get it. It is those open to reason that I am concerned with. The others can't be helped.

Any race can use gnomish death ray, it's just a matter of being gnome first to learn it.
Shadowmeld is mainly beneficial for classes like warriors and rouges, but even then it's second tier compared to goblin jump for warriors, or the aoe silence a blood elf rouge would get.
Worgen druids get the 2 minute sprint, but an aoe stun, with 5%Base increased health is easily comparable.
With an aoe silence, and the arcane resist, BE is almost the preferred race for any DPS.
The only roles that would have BiS race from being Alliance would be; a human pally FC, and arguably a worgen druid FC.
Healers it's more of a toss up between BE and Human, personally I'd prefer human, but I know plenty of people who would argue otherwise.

= community.

well to me the community looks like this

5 games today i had..3 of them were like this

293yo1t.jpg

the 8 24s(7 are hunters) are marked for your convinience
2dulf15.jpg

Wins at the last minute...how do you have less dps as a 24 hunter, than those f2ps..barely won with 6 hunters, 4 being 24.

2mq71wi.jpg

ALL 24.Sure they dont have some enchants..but who cares 8x 24 hunters.

why i went a 24 ally huntard(hopefully will be BiS in a week, i hate gnomer), someone needs a ally midfield hero that can ''somewhat'' play a huntard.Kill the bad 24s ..id like to determine a decent 24 from a bad.Cull the bad ones...at least the good ones will give me a run for my money. If i can do as much dps if not more..as a 24 hunter(based on any screenshot) back when i was f2p im pretty sure my dps will double as a 24.
