The Old Times and Arenas

Where did they go?

I've since left the bracket in favors of endgame play, however, I occasionally come back and play a few on my twinks, mostly my ally enh shaman. The community seems like it's transient now, people come and go and friendships can't last longer then a summer breeze. I originally played on a warrior (Horde) in the first few months of the community. There's only a few people left from then: Decem, Sabe (maybe), and Cotus apparently is making a departure judging from his thread on loaning accounts. There's no more arenas or wargames, just a scrabble of premades in order to get that gear, but to what avail? What use is pixels if you're not having fun? It is a game, after all.

So: a challenge to the community.

Bring back the old times and inspire the old timers to come back from the real world, or End Time.

Don't disappoint that nostalgic part of us.
 
well this only will happen if you can offer cookies with the fun.

btw more fun if alliance had more toons we need something to be able to go against.
we need people to be willing to do the fun stuff like not many people have shown interest in doing f2p raids (go look for frostymax 's thread)
theorycrafters willing to work with everyone to up our game and hence arenas.
albeit its 30 plus ppl in f2p chat only a handful talk others just keep to themselves (you know who you are)

Could have fooled me, I've probably done 50+ arenas this weekend, over 200 in the last 2 months. Cotus logs on whenever I ask on Skype for arena, and others are always eager. You just logged on at a bad time - the community is bigger and better than its ever been.

Considering how long there has been endless trial, and past that, any group of twinks past 2-3, yes: it's almost the lifetime of the bracket.

And my toon preceded this TI account by a month or three.

I think Rhae has been here almost since endless begun, actually, as well.
 
Arenas happen all the time on Horde now, just gotta be on when people want to do them.
 
Maybe people just don't like you so they don't invite you to things >.>

Not sure where this is coming from, every time I've logged on it's all about the arenas.

Me,mialo, and golden did quite a few arenas today as well.

62 people online last night AP Horde. Yes it was fishing but there has been plenty of activity all this week.

OP - I guess what I am trying to say there are plenty of people on. I heard many offers for arena, premades and dungeon runs. Maybe you logged on at a bad time - or maybe you should enact the change you want to see. Start some arenas and hype them up. Make it so people want to compete even if not 100% BiS.
