Jumps from B03 to Bo7 while giving 1 team a 1 win advantage. When if you where to lose you would have to lose 2 games to be knocked into losers bracket.
Completely wrong and isn't fair to winners bracket. Should follow the correct double elimination format alike the 29 3v3 tournament did.

Picking something means you evaluate it, thus, when you pick something you have to use logic and see the benefits and the bad side of the argument. If they seem to lack in a perspective you basically try to come up with a better alternative. You have to be creative.

I personally couldn't agree more, but it was agreed that we run a Bo7 with a 1 win advantage in a committee discussion. I'd love to revisit this topic as i feel strongly about the double elimination too. We have a meeting within the next few days and we have multiple topics that we need to revisit, rest assured that i'll put a strong case for the double elimination!

such a weird method. that basically nullifies the best of seven part and turns it into one team has to win less to win. kinda bullshit tbh. if you want best of 7 make it an actual best of seven (4 wins takes the series)
 
Doubt it has anything to do with the oppinions of the moderators, but more as a tool to secure AdSense, since most companies wouldn't want their products advertised on a website with a semi-porn related term floating around
