We've asked Myrm to add that to the same account as everything else, we have not heard from him in weeks, so we have to assume that if he does not do that, than he will send that money of his own accord.

There's been some dedicated people behind the scene working on that page. All props to them.

The money was "virtually" moved. By that I mean they're not actually in the proper paypal account, but Myrm who has access to the indigogo isn't around. So we can only assume he'll pay the money to the winner. (If he don't it's on him and not us)

At the moment, the rules for gear and enchant limitations are too complex. It should be either allow or disallow, no middle ground.
Sure I agree with say banning lvl 70 gear and crap, but rules have to be decieded between rewarding twinks with grandfathered gear or making the playing field even and have everything that isn't obtainable at this moment banned.

Rules should be simple alike as follows:
Gear - Only can use current obtainable gear, this includes all BoE's that may be grandfathered but are still in the game. All BoP gear that is no longer obtainable is banned.
Enchants - Only obtainable enchants are allowed. All grandfathered enchants are banned with the exception of enchants on lucky fishing hat. (Asking someone to farm a new LFH is stupid.)

It saddens me to say this, but Skill Ratio no longer plans to compete in the Twink Cup this year. As a team, we don't support the direction that the new management has taken the tournament in regards to how the rule committee was selected and how some of the oldest and most dedicated members of the community are being treated.

We want to thank everyone for all the hard work they have put into the tournament and hope nothing but the best for all those involved. Good luck to all the teams competing.

edit: The management has been way better so far than it has been previously, are you pulling our purely due to the fact that you didnt have member in the commite? which im sure would not matter since you out of anyone is probably one of the people they would listen to the most regardless being or not being in the rules commite. Would love a more elaborate explanation but I respect it if you are not willing to give one.

Well from the info ive gotten Myrm has been mia for a long time and not really communicative so I dont see how that would be a valid issue to pull put of the tournament.

But srsly, this is horrible. We are punishing the tinks whom have played for YEARS.

I respect Pizza being outraged by the result of the committee.

Toys, any items in bags or anything other than Healthstones and Runecloth Bandages are BANNED. Means standard is banned. PLEASE THINK THROUGH THE RULES. Could also take this as not being allowed to swap sets.

And still somehow you forgot to talk about bracer enchant, one of the most op enchants out there. Not only most op but also most common. You will have teams with 3-4 ppl being able to use it and teams (mainly eu) not being able to. Guess how big the advantage will be. Nice competition. Just ban evey unobtainable gear/enchant. As I mentioned earlier, I really feel like a lot of things hasnt been looked at in the bigger picture. For example I 100% agree that enchants as Syncretist’s Sigil and Animist Carress are overpowered, but banning them is debateable in my opinion. The reason being there is only 2x 19 druids (That I know of on US) that has Animist Carress and if you then take a look at the teams which these 2 druids are playing for I dont really think they would have to be banned if an enchant like 13SP On bracers arent banned, not like GSC has any 13 SP on bracers, infernos, jutes etc etc and I think Starter might also lack a ton of items (Sorry if I am wrong). I personally think that you have to ban ALL GFd enchants or simply none. I Also really cant see how stuff like 5 AP or 2sp 1haste and what not can be banned while things as 13 SP on bracers or 5 Attack power and 5 Crit on shoulders etc etc can not.

And last but not least I 110% stand by Pizzas comment, it's sad to see a team like SR not wanting to compete in this years Twink Cup, but I can totally understand them and I also feel like we had this issue last year and as I said back then and I will say again now, just get a person from each team to be in that committee, cant be that hard. I really cant see the idea behind handpicking a couple few represents from a couple of teams and not all teams. I feel like you either have to pick a leader from each team or no teams at all, not something in between. This feels more and more like a show of power, "We can do what we want" I bet this is not how you guys sees nor mean it, but you must understand the uproar of the community. Besides from that I bet a guild like SR would have had a ton of helpful input as they have actually played this tournament for as long as its existing and has a ton of experience. As far as Starter goes I bet it would have been a great learning experience for em to be in the committee as well and hopefully they would/will play again next year!

They don't want more people in the Commitee because of scheduling.

The reasoning behind involving every team leader into the ruling is not necessarily a better, faster ruling or whatever. Its quite obvious why you should involve them. Simply for the fact to give every team a chance to have a say on things or to voice their opinions. It is completely irrelevant at this point if the rules are good or not, or that the last meeting "with everyone and their grandmother" was a mess. You could have saved yourself a lot of drama. No matter how much of a struggle the ruling would have been with every team leader involved (I still fail to see why it would haven been a problem in the first place) in the end, your rules would have been backed up by every team simply because every leader was part of and could have had his say on it.
Secondly you really didnt do yourself a favor starting long ass arguments telling ppl not to compete if they dont agree with the ruling. And I am honestly still confused about the bracer enchant. Did you overlook it now or did you vote on it? I dont exactly know what would be more frustrating. You guys overlooking one of the most op enchant in the bracket while banning stuff that 99% of the community doesnt even know exist or you guys voting a straight 6/7 for it to not be banned while banning shit like 5 crit. Not trying to be mean or anything but I guess that fact alone makes ppl think you should have involved the leaders in the ruling. On top of that, what did lindenkron base his decision on for the bracer enchant being legit while others are not? Again you could have avoided all this drama..
