While discussing the bracket with a few of the genius' of GG19, a certain highly alpha individual made a brilliant suggestion, one so astonishing, I instantly knew it was my responsibility to delve into the practicality and the organizational theory crafting of such a thought. The thought was this; A Twink War Gaming League. The title is just a suggestion but it literally means "The Nineteens Community Wargaming League". The first thought I had when I heard this was - We have streamers like pro sports, we have a playoffs like pro sports, but we don't have a structured season like they do. Sure war games happen with frequency right now in preparation for the 2015 Twink Cup, but when all that dies down what do we have left? This is a bare bones idea as of right now, it would need to be run by the entire community, this would require more than GG19s help. This would require People Pledging to participate, to organize, to stream, to practice, to advertise, and invest their own time. At this point this doesn't have any official connections to GG19 or The Twinkcup but i'm not closing off those options, in fact I would prefer to tie them all in together in some capacity. Regardless of unknown details that I will need YOUR help coming up with, if this gets enough support I will make this happen with your help.
Please take the time to vote and discuss this.
If things go as expected will we form a group of people to decide on a framework for the entire thing. Then present that in a refined form.
This is designed to be a season, not a tournament. This will be more spread out than the twinkcup in terms of length and structure, and there will be no real world currency involved.
It's clear that this idea already has enough support to take it to the next phase, and likely see it too fruition, this is going to happen guys. At this point I need suggestions, and more support, in about a week I will announce a team that will decide on a framework.
