I remember when only the most meticulous planning would yield a twink. A time when you had to be super careful about what you did, where you did it, and how. I remember the excruciating task of farming up a few hundred gold so I could purchase +20 spellpower to gloves enchant, and the weeks it took to find someone on my server who actually had it.
I remember the first time twinking died. People had to migrate to different battle groups just to be able to play twinks. I remember the community that not only banned the use of unhealthy items and abilities, but enforced that ban into the ground if it meant games stopped completely, just to make sure the guy who broke the rules never did it again.
But most of all, I remember that twinking is gone. It will not be forgotten.
