Im currently running ulda for my rev gloves of eagle and healing, and the shoulders of the eagle..



ive got one question.



Is it worth going the extra mile to get the "Perfect" gear for the extra 1 stat.

i just got the 14 sp gloves and was wondering if the 15 sp where worth the extra mile and a half.



Should i just deal with 8/8 eagle's or go the extra 2 miles to get 9/8's?



any opinions:confused:
 
Honestly, no. It's friken hard enough as it is to get the gear that you want, if you get it, leave. 1 stat isn't life or death.
 
i mean, i do got a free instance runner 24/7. dual boxing isnt hard its just i wish i could run it 24/7 and get it all at once, Fucking blixz lockout timer /sigh:(
 
ty =) wouldent 2 int add up tho! thats like 30 mana! lol jk but thx for your thoughts man, supprised your up this late reading fourms. thought noone would reply but any other opinions?? so the 1 sp and 2 int/stam wouldent kill me,

but if i do somehow find a perfect 15 heals or perfect 9/8 while trying to get normal 8/8, it will be worth it =)

Edit: im kinda new to 39 so yeah, ill just see what i can get for now and upgrade when im 100% later

If this is just something you're doing for fun, then do it till it isn't fun anymore. But if you are going for a hardcore pvp god then that 30 mana will be the thing that gives that priest enough mana to heal his buddy, or that pally enough to judge, or whatever it may be. Back in my GuildWars days I can't tell you how many times I was saved by a well timed infuse when i only had 15 hp left or some shit.



It makes a difference.
 
I'd say go for the best, but at the same time don't overdue it, and end up hating your twink because of it. Keep the ones you have now, and run the instance however many times you want a day. Set a limit, and stick to it. There's no point getting that last upgrade if you then are so burnt out you don't log on, and play.
 
imo u might aswell aim for perfection, takes some extra time (alot of extra time), but guess it comes down how much u rly want it.

go and have fun with the imperfect ones.



but come back every now and then and try for the perfect ones!

it is not a bad idea to have a lil fun with your imperfect gear, but there will be time for a set of 5 runs once or twice every week.
 
we recently had a druid lvl from 28-38 purely off rev kills trying to get a perfect set of stam shoulders...now he will be making dead runs but he wont settle for less

I thought the minimum level to enter Uldaman was 30? Or did they change it?
 
I thought 30, but who knows, lol..check wowhead or thottbot or whatever, heh.



Id say its not worth it currently...1sp means little or nothing overall and the 1 or 2 int or stam you lose isnt really going to make or break you...



what matters is skill first, gear second...







now...come 3.2 with the exp being capped then you might as well eventually get the perfect ones...but dont stress out over them, they are a bonus not a must have.
 
In 3.2, I'm going to get my perfects. Whilst 20 HP / 30 Mana (or in my case, 10 HP / 15 Mana) might not be gamebreaking, it's nonetheless never a bad thing to have.

i thought the same thing but he said he started at 28, when i joined the guild and started leveling another twink he was 31...thank god i only leveled twice trying to get my shoulders:D
