The community should vote for the moderators m8

I dont know if your referencing.something but TIs traffic has been increasing the past few weeks

In all fairness I highly doubt TI is as active as you are making it, there is what 2-3 threads active a day and then there is all this shit http://i.imgur.com/UwBxpd9.png which has yet to be dealt with, for what, months now? Which of course spikes the activity as it counts as threads created... Worst part is, it takes hours before any of you guys bans these guys and remove their postes.

A good tip for you guys imho is to choose some EU nerd to become a moderator, as it seems more or less all of you moderators are US, and before you all come out with your EU Swine comments, no this post is not to hate against the US ppl at all, but it's a face there there is a HUGE gap between moderations on this website.

Besides from all of that, this thread in my eyes seems like the exact same threads that happened once the bracket masters got introduced on the website... People hungering for power and what not, and once they got their promotion they finally realized what they had signed up for included doing stuff... and as fast as they had gotten their promotion as fast they wanted to get rid of it. It really just seems like a begging thread to me and sorry if I am wrong, but seriously look at this thread...

As much as you guys hate Mocha for whatever reason I personally think he said something true:

A good moderator will enforce a CoC as it's written.
A liked moderator is rarely a good moderator.

That being said I think the CoC should be written with the entire community and not one man alone.

You guys should just let TI sail it's own boat untill you are getting your Xenforo website up and running, and once that is done, get a new start. Make a great new CoC with the community if it wasnt already done a month ago or so and choose some moderators. Dont make some poll for who to become new moderators unless you want even worse moderators than there has been in the past. Moderators chosen by the community will only result in moderators allowing their best buddies to be toxic.

I can speak from personal experience when I am saying I have been given IP Addresses and emails of users from various moderators on this website in the past so it wouldnt be something new to have "toxic" or "biased" moderators on this website... So no it's far from only the users of TI that goes against the CoC and before anyone asks I am not giving out names to start a witch hunt, however Shane did know it was happening back in time.

Best regards Shamatix

EDIT: Oh so you deleted the other spam, time for some more... http://i.imgur.com/b1hPp6k.png

TBH TI needs to have someone that is not only reputable in a good way but also would give a fuck to properly moderate the site. And putting in the time needed to keep on top of threads.

Under what i said above, i don't see anyone able to fit those guidelines. Good luck trying to find someone that will put in the time needed to take care of us kids.
maybe you should get to know me a bit before generalizing me with the others thanks XD

i 100% agree you need people on different timezones to moderate properly

I'm the only person in favour of less moderation?

Shit like this is pretty dumb if you ask me, I think some people should be unmodded If anything

It could just be that the staff member forgot to put something in the text box or maybe missed that one (there's kind of a little form that gets completed where there are different fields to complete). Don't forget that there were several new people who joined the staff after Myrm bought the site. I'm guessing that leaving out the ban reason was just an oversight.

You know, in the early mid 30s to begin with and then the later 30s, there was a gentleman that was trying to "ban" people irl, so to speak, for next to no good reason. You know who that person was?

Shane issued that ban. (This wasn't a ban against me, but still)

Whatever point you're trying to make, you just lost.

How is suggesting that the community vote for moderators stupid? Explain your point big boy.
This quote isn't directed toward me, but regardless, it is stupid because the majority of community members don't know what is best for themselves.
