Roboartist recently resigned, and Laurasia also stepped down from modding a little while back. We (the staff) were already discussing who we could promote as Mod to take their place. So, I'm interested in hearing who you guys would like to nominate or suggest as a new Mod.

I haven't personally talked to Myrm yet, so I can't guarantee anything. However, if Myrm does agree with restocking the the number of staff members (especially since even some of our current Mods are really busy with RL, including myself), I think he'd definitely be interested in hearing out the community.

In those areas I visit, I haven't seen many viable candidates who also seem interested, but I think Yde for TI Legend. As for OP, I don't see how an extremely lenient mod is much more useful than no one in his place.

I try to do the community 1 favor before I go, with not even Conq speaking out against your temporary ban. You should feel lucky the site owner tolerates filth like you.

I'm all for 19s being revived, but since the unbanning, your kind has literally repelled much of the community from other sections of the site. The bots haven't helped lately, but I'd rather focus on that than see your name on this site again.

All that said, I'm done with moderating for possibly a long time. I hope things get back to normal, and worthy replacements are found for me and Laurasia.

Yes it should be a community nomination (one held in 20s; one held in 19s), with open choice (no biased polls). After the top 5 or so are chosen, it should be up to them to send in an application, followed by staff vote.

But have you seen that this approach you're taking has worked? If you get over your crusade for free speech, you won't take such offense when you're censored, and the fact of the matter is that no matter the frequency or severity of your posts, still you're subject to censorship. You just can't stop everyone from doing what you don't like.

Well it has because the mods have acknowledged it. Mods like Robocop still have the PC mindset that aggressive or confrontational language scratches away the substance of the argument. People shouldn't be getting offended or sidetracked by the way something is said. Every single time the substance of the argument should be focused on. Robocop ignored my disagreements because he had such a PC mindset. He laughed and giggled like a girl and wanted to ban me because he didn't like me opposing his PC views. Look, this isn't just an issue specific to this forum, this is a world wide issue. The information you look at whether it be the news, reddit, newspapers all censor views that don't meet the PC standard. As one of those guys whos always been on the outskirts on TI i think i want to prove your point on this... Iv been twinking since BC and been lurking TI for 7 years and made an account almost 4 years ago. The hostility of this community has always kept me at bay but i always returned because once in a while there some decent posts. I hate how people treat each other on this site and how toxic some are. I havn't premaded since 49s which makes me sad but fuck its better then listening to kids scream "fgt" at each other.

Well i've explained it across the board in great lengths. No one has actually come up with an argument that doesn't go along the lines of ''you're a toxic asshole''. It's funny in a way because they accuse me of 'name calling'' yet they do the exact same thing in return. I used the words ''people should'' because there is still a contention with the PC attitude. Now that South Park has addressed the topic of censorship and is getting more and more attention we are starting to see alot of people realize. It is something that shouldn't exist in the world. Even Donald Trump is speaking about it as well. You can see here that i'm not just calling you ''Mr.poopy face'' or ignoring your arguments am I? Look at the end of the day I just want people to say what they want without getting censored, its a pretty simple concept. I'm not advocating rape or supporting ISIS here.
