The best way to juke a kick

Tiger

1. Obtain disgusting oozeling
2. Use disgusting oozeling
3. Get into a fight with a rogue
4. Cast hearthstone
5. Wait for kick
6. ???
7. Profit!

If you can't juke a rogue then its a L2P issue.
Pretty much this. 9/10 Fakecasts work cause every rogue kinda panics when u cast with less than 75% health.
Ofc u have to fakecast more than once but seriously? The number of rogues who let u fakecast yourself to death is countable on one hand.
And I havent met a single one who can mouseoverkick.

Also always remember:
Rather die trying than get kicked by some stealth-douche!

FYI: Most rogues in this bracket don't even kick and the ones that do normally are really late in the cast (read: slow to react).

Using hearthstone interrupts the cast on melee attack, you'll be fake casting till you die. pointless thread.

Just fake the normal way like everyone else does.

thats good to know.

Usually I Wait till the bar is half full before kicking so they think they are gonna get away with it before I make them spit up their lunch >:)

So this thread is pointless, as has already been outlined.

But in regards to kicking, or ANY interrupt really:

The best players will learn from the person they are fighting. This goes for healers trying to juke as well.
Players have varying levels of skill with it, so it's important to learn exactly how good they are.
(Also: note that the following are approximations, and that there is substantial value in simply NOT kicking at all
in order to keep the enemy healer in a constant state of paranoia. The following approximations assume that the rogue is going to use kick, rather than simply holding on to it.)

For instance, an average rogue (read: 1500 elo) will kick a healer's cast when they are below 75%. A good healer will let them without juking, as in most situations you can easily tank the damage while putting the rogue's kick on CD.

A solid rogue (read: 2000 elo) will only kick the healer when their health is below ~40%, and/or if they judge that their burst will be sufficient to kill (or force CD's) from the healer. They will probably not get juked by the first cast.

And from there it's just a question of learning the healer's style. Also note that, contrary to popular theory, the healer has the advantage versus interrupts.

To make it easier to land a successful kick, the rogue must put out substantial damage.
To make it easier to juke, the healer must be able to have a decent amount of time with which to work.

tl;dr - Many variables, good players learn some of them, R1 players learn them all.

On a sidenote, how is everyone keeping track of enemy CDs? Icicle and Vial are both out of date and throw up lua errors with Tidyplates.

by variety of skill you mean what % of hp to kick at or how late in the cast to kick. TL:DR version.

Sometimes I wonder if it's skill/lack of skill or just human reaction time+some random ping rate.

wait a sec... don't rogues just wait till you're at 20% hp then ambush?

try this;.....

/cast w/e heal
/stopcasting

just double tap it a few times (leave 2-3 secs delay between each) till you learn to time it manually

InterruptBar. Also easy to add own spells like shield of skill or whatever ur Class needs

Am I the only one who giggled about this? Reads like a free ticket for every healer who isnt fakecasting-also 9/10 imo.

I'm not sure if you're insinuating if I'm trolling or not, because I recognize that this statement is a bit vague.

Let me rephrase:

If you have a sufficient amount of health so that 5 seconds of being unable to cast is survivable, you should free cast. Because the rogue kicking you is essentially wasting his cooldown.

It's one of the easiest ways to gain an advantage against an interrupt class that is inexperienced.

No, I meant exactly what I wrote. Ofc you are right with the statement but the sentence itself reads like every healer who isnt fakecasting is doing it on purpose ;)
In my case I hate getting kicked so I don´t intend to tank anything if I´m not forced to wether its a low geared or max geared rogue.
Still good resumé u gave..
