Does anybody still like The Beatles? I told some kids at my school about them and they were like wha?........ If you do know of them and like them post your top 3 favorites.

My mom is a huge fan and some people tell me I look like Paul Mcartney, hence the Mc in my name. (I used to just be Bankington) although the only songs I like are I am the Walrus, and I guess Eight days a week or whatever its called is OK. I'm also a pretty good singer in my opinion.

Sure, by today's standards, the Beatles' music may not be fantastic, but you youn'uns need to realize that the rock revolution happened BECAUSE of them.

They were the musical innovators that everyone copied for decades, and their songs helped shape musical history.

You are correct; arguably, Elvis churned out the first notable rock and roll record in 1954, but at the time there were others (Chuck Berry, etc) that were his contemporaries.

The Beatles (and the British Invasion in the 60s) helped rock take off like wild fire, though.

<3 the beatles :)

can't really decide top 3, but if I had to it would prolly look somethin like this:

Getting Better

With a Little Help from my Friends

A Hard Days Night

I personally concider The Beatles as one of the best bands ever, with The Beach Boys as a Runner-up!
