I think its a difference between rating based on wargames and rating based on pugstomping.I disagree with this. There is no doubt that Disc is the best healer (even after the nerf), but the only thing a MV does better than my restoration druid is healing and stun/cc. I've got better survivability, better mobility, much higher damage (+ better pressure) and all around a better toolkit.
When it comes to group fights, Restoration has the highest damage of any healer in the 39 bracket.
We might have different criteria when it comes to rating the different classes/builds. I rate based on all around performance in a battleground and highest chance to carry/make a difference.
I would love at some point to play with one of these god tier MV's, because I haven't seen a single one so far.
I dont even like solo queing on my fury warrior when I can solo que on my resto druid. You're right, it just feels like it contributes better to the team, does absurd damage for a healer, pumps out decent enough heals, cant be pinned out without a coordinated effort, etc etc etc. Even pugmades with the guild, Id prefer to be on my druid. I can, for lack of a better word, "carry" levelers on my resto druid.
But in a wargames situation? There's just better healers. You cant really afford to give up a spot on a wargames team to a "jack of all trades, master of none" which keeps resto from being top of the heap.
