The 10 pixel laws of computer games

I never said they were online at the same time, im just saving the data saved on each server as well as the amount of pixels and etc being used by people on Blizzards systems.

again, the data saved isn't the amount of people on the servers.

can a test realm hold 100 players on the server...or 100 saved characters?

Sigh, either way.

1) private servers are illegal due to copy right laws.

2) way more people play on the real servers.

3) I wasn't trying to prove that was the actual amount online.

4) theres still quite a large number of people on at any given time.

well... i think we are running in circles... i have answered at this question on another threand - is it wow expensive.

anyway, when you buy wow, and stay 30 days irl and 15 days in wow time to make a twink, that twink is yours!

That twink is not rented, it's yours and yours only.

Imagine this. You go to a park. There is a sculpture contest. And they are some blocks of marble. You pay 30 dollars to rent a space in the park and you recive a block of marble. You start choping until you make a statue, then, the park comes and take your statue and destroy it, because you only rented it for 30 days and then the block of marble is their and they can do anything with it.

Let's just say you paid for 2 years to rent that block of marble, and you made a very good statue. You paid around 1000 dollars for the rent time ... so that statue worth 1000 dollars. Again the park officials come and destroy your statue because it;s theirs... and they can do anything with it.

It doesn't sounds good. You should think before acting like sheeps and taking everything you hear for granted.

People used to think that burning a woman who was suspicious was ok 500 years ago. You think that if you pay hundreds of dollars to make a virtual character and then just loose it and considering that it's not yours it's ok.

In both cases, some powerfull men manipulated the people, and invented some laws to establish their authority. People just took this for granted for many years until somebody start thinking and said it's all wrong.

Don;t be that stupid. Blizzard is nothing without you. You pay Blizzard , you make it exist, you can make the rules. They say that if you don;'t like it you should quit, well if all 11 mill subscription will be canceled gues what happens to wow? it dies.

Ok heres what you should do.

Start a revolt against blizz cancel your account and stop playing i'm sure everyone else will see your point and follow suit.

nope. it's not yours. tell me, did you really create the programming?

honestly, how do you compare creating statues in a park (which i assume is going to be elegant and please many people at the expense of the builder) to a video game where the objective is to basically have fun?

right, but the thing is it DOESN'T MATTER. has blizzard taken away your character for no reason yet? no.

but if they did randomly do this to many people, many people WOULD quit. but because blizzard wants to keep people on, they don't do this. i mean there's just no logic to deleting characters people have if it's going to make you tons of money.

if they wanted to, they could screw up all the servers so noone could play. guess what? it's still their stuff. they did ALL the programming and all you did was play the game to have fun

if you don't like it this way, quit the game. rebel for all you want. you're not going to get people to quit just because blizzard holds all the power. blizzard doesn't tarnish the game with their power.

Blizzard would exsist without us, even if all 11 million quit right now, it doesn't matter..Blizzard has already made bank far more than anticipated. They would just shut down the servers and move on, Blizzard is more than just World of Warcraft.

They also have books, Diablo 1/2/2 expansion, and soon Diablo 3..lets not forget good ol starcraft and the coming out starcraft 2. (mmo mabye??).

Blizzard has been working on Wrath of the Lich King, Diablo 3, as well as Starcraft 2. They arn't foolish enough to put all of their assests into one thing, do they put alot of it in WoW? yes, but still they have 2 very popular back up plans. Hell I own a copy of all 3 games.

yes, there were people banned for no reason - check athene case - he was banned because he leveled too fast - comon - it's no low against this. Know what blizz replied ? So what, it's our game so we do as we like.

the twink is mine, I have payed money for it and it belongs to me.

i think you are kinda dumb anyway, it's not your fault, blizz erased your brain

check it on youtube and you will find it how... if you are able to do this... :(

right, it is their game

you didn't pay for that. AGAIN. IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT, DON'T PAY FOR IT.

i think you are kinda dumb anyway, it's not your fault, blizz erased your brain

no, i'm just telling you facts.

if you payed money for it, it doesn't mean it's yours. you are paying to rent it. if you want to actually buy it then maybe you should ask blizzard about it. if they don't want to sell it to you, then that's too bad. make your own.
