Unfortunately, Yde has stepped down from her position of administrator. I'd like to make this thread to recognize Yde for all the work she has done, Yde was the biggest asset to the staff of Twink Info and it is indeed a shame to see her go. It's quite understandable, though, as the job of administrator is very much a thankless job. Yde always helped out whenever anyone needed it and was also quite unbiased. Thanks, Yde!

Thanks for all you did Yde, you are the best! Im honestly worred about the current mod team now though and i fear for the site.

I've found Yde to be an excellent administrator in both personality / good mood, and the most fair in taking disciplinary action when needed ( Not implying the rest are unfair, though perhaps the word would be strict :p ). It is indeed disappointing to see such an exemplar of a staff member go, hopefully the remainder of the staff can learn / adapt certain ways you moderated.

I don't think I ever truly thanked Yde for all of the hard work that was done so let me take this untimely opportunity to send my sincere thanks for the many hard hours of effort and conversations she shared with this community.

Yde became one of the least bias Mod on this site to date, and to be honest that's a feat considering the usual crowd on these forums.

I too am concerned with the departure of Yde as this leaves the current Moderation roster in shambles with a combination of partial corruption, overly strict and unrealistic expectations clouding their judgement. I guess only time will tell what this next chapter of Twink Info will bring.

Power still resides in the people!
 
I want to sincerely thank you Yde, for all you have done for this site, being part of the F2P boards, as i am you were the mod I saw the most, and I do believe that you made great decisions for the problems you were presented with. I never saw you be biased or unfair towards individuals, get frustrated or angry in your posts, or treat people as if they were below you. These are all thing that are sadly far to present in most forum board mods that I have had experience with. On the other hand you, in my experience, always treated others fairly, cared about the people behind the post, and strove to be one of the greatest mods I have ever had the pleasure to meet during your time here. Once again I want to thank you for all you have done here.

Yde, you will be remembered as the admin that has kept this forum alive and well for so long. I cant imagine this forum holding its ground without your kind words that made people actually want to listen to you. Good Luck and I hope all is well

And I am hugely flattered that people seem to think I didn't screw up too much on moderating and mediating. I'm sorry for my lack of staying power. Maybe soon I'll have a bit more time and then actually get to read the parts of the forums I enjoy and hang out with you. :)
