Sorry to hijack but I find it worth asking since you guys played on TBC classic.

TBC pre patch comes next week, am I able to enchant naxx shoulder enchant to my serpents shoulders and it will still work in TBC? Some friends and random redditors said they added something to fix this. Can anyone that played the first TBC classic confirm? Here's the reddit post my friend sent.

Naxx enchants can only be applied to unbound items (if wanting to give them to other characters), and the bis shoulder becomes soulbound in TBC for level 19 agi leather users. The enchant continues to still work on your shoulders, and does not become "red" or disabled until Wrath.

A way to bypass this grandfathering is to enchant the bis shoulder Serpent's Shoulders in classic, wrap them in Wrapping Paper, and the Wrapped Box will be able to be traded uninhibited, even though the shoulder inside inside are bind on pickup.

People think this bypass is fixed because the PTR shows wrapped boxes soulbound instead of freely tradable, but this was the case back in original TBC classic as well. PTR does not reflect the characteristics of live servers. You can read more about this event from TBC classic here

TLDR: Naxx enchants continue to provide stats in TBC, but the method to obtain them on bind on pickup goes away, as all new shoulders are bind on pickup, and the only tradable shoulders with the enchant will be in wrapped boxes from the previous expansion. Grandfathered.
