Taking up the f2p challenge!?

Hey guys..im considering starting a f2p acc to try out 20 twinking.. im still unsure to give it a go or not..can u guys give me your opinion on f2p twinking.. is it more enjoyable or equally enjoyable..do u often get frustrated with p2p in bg's? also maybe ur opinion on best class to start a f2p twink..thanx Stab the Fab!
 
I haven't played 24's in a while but its relatively fun. I came back after a break and decided to make a F2P twink I am currently really enjoying it really great,friendly and active community on my realm. 24's can be a pain and all but you feel so boss when you kill them :D! I play a Holy Paladin on Aerie Peak (Horde). I'd say at least give it a shot :)
 
Counter Strikes mages rogues hunters and boomkins and spriests are annoying rest are manageable, f2p is more fun than one might think looking at it from the sideline, it's something diffrent, the new loom prices are a pain for casters but theres always DMF.


Give it a try, the addon connects people on a new level and most servers have a decent amount of people, some of the bigger communities are shown in Ydes sticky guide.
 
Been plain every twink bracket and even when my acc not frozen i always come back 2 f2p 20s.
Even if they change f2p lvl cap i wont leave it.
No insane amounts of cc fear and less moving speed = time well spend.

So aerie peak has twink guilds etc? I don't see a reason to create on my usual realm as there would be no great advantage

There isn't any guilds, you cant use the mailbox not really any advantage if you create on your usual realm i think. But there is the F2P Chat addon on curse which you can download very useful.

Consider Korgath Alliance if you would like to play Arena.

Otherwise just go Aerie Peak Horde so you can play with a large community and premade into BG.
 
I would say it's certainly worth trying out.
It won't take long to see whether you're going to like it or not.

Also keep in mind AP is not the only active server. Certainly the biggest though.

Blackwing Lair, has quite the following. It's a very nice server, just enough people, so you can get to know them, the p2ps on it are VERY helpful. Also we can assist with gearing / any questions you might have :p. If you decide to head to BWL, just send me a message.

AP Horde for constant action. If you do join make sure you fish in Felix's pools on Sundays - in exchange he gives you a water walking buff for helping increase the pool respawn time.

BWL is a little smaller be seems friendlier.

Blackwing Lair Horde. We may not be as large as AP Horde, but we're just as active, there's usually always people on in the evenings willing to help and the past few weeks have been a massive boom in population, but everyone still knows eachother.

We're friendlier too, not cliquish. Only one rule though: don't be an OP class, or else you lack schwag.
