As I noted in a previous thread, beta keys are now available to the general public on a first-come first-served basis for an upcoming weekend. They are testing the servers in preparation for the release on December 20th. This is a perfect opportunity for those that wish to test the game that are skeptical or otherwise about preordering it.
There's a couple sites that are offering up keys right now. You can try ZAM (the parent company of Wowhead) or you can try TenTonHammer. A third option is Joystiq.
If you're interested, I would recommend acting now because there is a limited number of keys. If neither of these sites work, let me know. There's several other sites I have that still have them.
