STRATEGY FOR YOUR ANTI CLASS

Between rogues and warriors I would say warriors cause more trouble for hunters from the fact that rogues abilities are easier to counter for hunters and warriors hit harder. I know that other hunters may say that they have a harder time killing rogues, but in WSG and AB it is quite simple.

~Avoid Hammy

Almost all of the warriors damage will come from melee of course. To keep you in range they have to keep hamstring on you continuously to be able to kill you. There are many ways to avoid hamstring even becoming an issue for you at all. Because warriors have to be out of combat at level 29 to use charge this will be essential for you use in your favor. One of my favorite ways to achieve this is to send your pet to attack him while you stay out of his charge range with aspect of the cheetah.

~Fighting Hammy

Of course when a warrior does happen to land a hamstring on you there are still ways to fight back. Using insignia right away would not be suggested unless everything else is on cooldown because a warrior can simply reapply hamstring on you. Creating space between you and the warrior is absolutely needed to survive. Land wing clip on the warrior then disengage away from him, when you land activate aspect of the cheetah, after wing clip runs out concussive shot and commence kiting. If disengage is on cooldown freezing trap is now a more desirable option as blizzard has fixed the hunter pets from breaking the trap.

The Big One

i have seen some killer hunters with duel "Zealot Blades" 15 agi on one and 22 int on the other

bleeding crescent is not viable. zealot will be the better MH or butcher will have 31 instead of 30 possible stats.

CofS is best in slot for an ally OH and you won't switch it out. MH will be butcher/zealot not wsg dagger.

leg slot will be changed with 3.1 ...triprunner/panther hunter

you don't always want damage on your weapons. the main thing is stats. spirit isn't a very good hunter stat.

wsg dagger 10stats

butcher 9stats + significant higher topend.

zealot 5stats + highest topend. 5int instead of 4stam 5agi (butcher)

butcher/22int is the best starting MH if not starting with zealot/22int switching to butcher/15agi while keeping CofS/30int.

horde may start with bleeding crescent30int, but it is superior to start with butcher/22int. trading 8int into 4stam 5agi higher topend for a starting weapon is a good choice. there is almost no class that won't hit you once, so the 4stam5agi are not wasted.

use bleeding crescent with 30 int, then once you use up 120 mana (8 int's worth) you switch to butcher/22 int. then, after you use up the 22 int (330 mana) from butcher's, you can switch to another weapon if you want to.

since the int->AP changes there is enough mana to play with. 4stam5agi is superior to 8int. in case you will autohit or instahit once the higher topend also benefits you.

besides this a weapon change is not always worth the gcd use...espacially not to gain 120mana an a setup without mana issues. as i stated there is no class that won't hit you atleast once so the 4stam and 5agi is worth the itemization. the 29 hunter has access to the aspect of the viper...no need to stack too much int.

The best legs after the removal of BC Leg Patches is now [Triprunner Dungarees].

Petrolspill: 14 Agi, 6 Stam

Triprunner: 18 Agi, 6 Stam, 3 Str

Also, for the talent build that you gave, I would take the point out of [Go for the Throat] and put it in [Focused Aim]. That extra 1% hit gets you almost up to the hit cap when you combine it with +15 Hit on Gloves.

Hey man what are you on... Draenei racials are not C and D quality...

First of all, Naruu will heal for 500-700 or so, which is amazing. I dont know how you call that sub par quality. Secondly, a free 1% hit? How could you pass that up? With that extra 1% hit, you can take Truesight Amulet (11 Hit) instead of the 15 Hit glove enchant and pick up the 26 AP glove enchant instead...

Both of these racials greatly help in AB and WSG... a good TARGETABLE heal for improved FCing and sustained DPS from the extra Hit. All good BG Hunters roll Draenei. Nelf is for an Arena Hunter and Dwarfs just suck (now that Stoneform got the massive nerf).

If it was really a question rather than an insult I'm on smackers. Thizz or fall down a flight of stairs you beezey.

Draenei should get 0 points total because they look like a bizarre cross breeding between a mentally imbalanced blue mermaid/squid and a goat that doesn't produce milk.

I would take 15 agility over 26 AP any day because crit+ap > ap

Stoneform is a huge help against both of the huntards biggest enemies. This of course is rogues crippling poison and warriors rend hunger for blood. It no longer gives 8 second immunity, but does still remove the desired effect.

while a draenai may look weird (to each their own), GotN deserves better than a "C" IMO

not to stray away from the fact this guide is excellent
