Sunstrider Axe

So with this new scaling system in WoD I thought Sunstrider Axe - Item - World of Warcraft might be viable again with a whopping 3.5 weapon speed. I made a blood elf rogue and it seems you can't choose this reward as a rogue (you have to go with Sunstrider Dagger - Item - World of Warcraft).

Does anyone who had this weapon pre-WoD know how it scales at level 20? Im very curious

So are you thinking for enhancment or? Dont understand why this item even exist if only Shamans and DK's can pick it and it's the starter quest for blood elfs that dosn't even have shamans.

It's not soulbound, so to have it on a p2p is nothing cewl. But yeah like you said obtained befor WoD prepatch, pretty sure my rogue dont have it.

that's 3.5 speed and has ilvl 35 (everything scales to 34 in this bracket) so should be similar to that

actually scrap that 2h weps hit harder than a 1h with the same speed and ilvl so as its white its probably useless

Not worth the stat trade off and inferiority to blues/heirloom base damage imo.

But I could be wrong. If anything id say it would probably have a teeny tiny bit more striking power than a 2.8 speed 1 hander

Well, if wowhead is truely correct, then this item is basically non-existant for this bracket. Except that spanish f2p prot pally still using it with int and cloth gear

While the weapon speed on it is high for a one-hand, one also needs to remember that many (though not all) weapon-damage abilities are also calculated with normalized weapon speed instead of the speed of the stick itself.
