Sum up of 3.1 changes for 39s

JC trinkets will now require jewel crafting.



BC enchants are staying currently.



Herbalism will only go up to rank 4 lifeblood (Artisan). All the skills buffs are capped at Artisan (300).



Skinning rank 4 is 12 crit rating. Mining rank 4 is 10 stamina (what a joke).



They really sort of screwed 39s because the ranking is Apprentice (1), Journeyman (1), Expert (10), Artisan (25), Master (40), Grand Master (55). So, we have the biggest stretch between levels than any other bracket for the buffs.



Updated craftable items yields a helm with +hit called Comfortable Leather Cap. (nothing really else for 39's though)



I need to do some checking on the skill stuff more.

Yeah, they have said that a PTR is JUST a PTR. Just wait and see what goes live.
 
Hm, looks like if Rank 4 requires lvl 40, then we would only be able to get Rank 3, yes? Which means even 12crit, 10stam, and 900heal are out of reach. I don't know if I really consider a 600ish heal to be worth the time. =/
 
Yeah Jaydn you're right, we can only obtain the rank 3 skills. I feel like i wasted my time with professions.



Also I believe that the highest armor enchant that we get is the +32 armor, correct me if I'm wrong.

Rank 1 (Apprentice) - obtained at 75 - required level ?

Rank 2 (Journeyman) - obtained at 150 - required level ?

Rank 3 (Expert) - obtained at 225 - required level ?

Rank 4 (Artisan) - obtained at 300 - required level ?

Rank 5 (Master) - obtained at 375 - required level ?

Rank 6 (Grand Master) - obtained at 450 - required level ?

Something about that seems wrong, but judging from that you should be able to get rank 4 at level 39.
 
I think I read somewhere on either wiki or wowhead that rank 3 is what we can get. Rank 4 is level 40.

Not from what i can tell, im capped at 300 skill and i have rank 4 anatomy.



12 crit and 10 stam dont sound OP to me.
 
very annoying that those with > 300 skilled gathering professions get *no* usable ranks of the buff spells. e.g. if 450 herbalism, attempting to use rank 3, 4 of lifeblood does nothing. Means you are expected to drop a 450 profession and rank back up to 300 for anything useful.



should be an easy defect to fix >_< just allow usage of all spell ranks of lifebloom, and only upgrade to new rank of toughness, master of anatomy when min level is reached AND skill level reached (instead of OR)

You're talking about live right? Have you checked on the PTR though?

I'm pretty sure they'll be dropped for engineering and JC anyway. (def. if you can only use rank 3)



Yeah, live but rank 3 would be so horribly bad...the source looked pretty legit from where i got the level ranges too.

According to your post, level 30s get rank 4. Read my post on page 1 of this thread.
 
ive got an open proxy IP ban from pwndepot, but a friend of mine says they have it posted up that librams are fine again on PTR, any word on this?

That was the point of this thread anyway.
 
As I am still twinking out my 39 and it makes me wonder if I should start looking at some alternate gear pieces maybe with more stam. Has anyone looked into some ideal new sets or do you think that gear listings will still be the same with the PTR changes.

Unsure. It depends on a lot of things, such as whether they make any more changes, and perhaps whether it's worth even trying to increase your survivability (especially as a rogue). >.>



Me, I won't be updating the 39 priest guide until after 3.1 goes live.
