Succubus not working?

I just levelled a new lock to 20, and as soon as I summoned the Succubus, I noticed that the spell "Seduction" didn't appear on the spellbook, I tried using the skill via the following macro, and neither worked

/cast Seduction

It's because my character is so ugly?

It's because your pet has seduce, but you do not Learn to controll it before lvl ~26 however your pet will do random seduces on people that stuns you as a rogue sapping you or a pala HoJing you.

You don't get the ability to use Seduction on command until level 26. However, your succubus does know the spell and will use it on her own occasionally. Basically, the auto-cast aspect of the spell is active at 20 but you don't get to control the ability until later.

I believe the same situation applies to Singe Magic for the Imp.

I've heard of various instances of warlocks being able to control seduction via bug. I'm probably just being trolled as well though ; /

I usually keep my pets on passive and do not select any abilities to function automatically. (This means both basic auto attacks and all of a pet's special abilities)
They are all bound into pet control macros and directly to other warlock abilities. (ex. /cast conflagrate /cast lash of pain /cast torment) (In order to be effective whether a focus seduction macro or a macro to sync pet dps with warlock dps, you need to deselect the automation on the tool tips in the spell book)
Obviously my succy was not responding to a direct seduction command anymore but also not seducing randomly or automatically.
So because we can no longer manually control this pet function, as others have mentioned, remember to right click/activate/turn shiny the seduction tool tip in the pet spell book if you previously controlled this pet function per macro.

I believe when you scale in bg/arena, your pet learns the ability, thus allowing you to seduce. I may be wrong since I am an unreliable source of information.

/cast Attack --- This one is the key to activate seduction, so it can be used, when you use pets ability "Attack" , you have entered combat, that the ability requirement.
then you can just type
/cast seduction (can be a focus macro as well) ^_^

I had a similar problem on a fresh 20 lock, what you have to do is when you enter a bg re summon your succubus, the ability should the appear in your pets spell book. You can also use it outside of bgs once you do this.

This. Once you scale up to 29 your pet will learn the ability and you are able to control it from then on.
