Sub rouge wep's

Hey,

I know this have been discussed so many times before, but I am just very curious, some say double BoA maces, other say Impish Blade with Wingblade, although it is no longer obtainable?...

So I just wanted to ask you guys what will do the best? Also I do not have access to SF's...

Thanks

If you can't get SF's get the BOA Sword and Mace.

Or be a hipster and roll boa daggers, or impish blade, stillwaters dagger, keeshans dagger, sentinels blade.. (am I missing any?)

IMO

Dagger rogues for utility though lots of kiddies to understand RNG

Fangs for "burst" even though it does a worst damage overall than maces and there any many weapons giving more burst from ambush...

BOAs for a nice overall damage with a good eviserate crit

Highest ambush = Impish blade + Wingblade with a full crit set

Highest overall = Venerable Mass of McGowen

Best against melee = Shadowfangs for the 0% chance to miss from the proc or Skelatol Club is kinda viable as it has a 8% higher proc rate than Shadowfangs but the 6 agility way out damages it

Best against hunters = Duel daggers like Balanced Heartseeker MH and Scarlet Kris Dagger OH

Combat = Shadowfang + Battleworn Thrashblade

Depends on your playstyle I suppose though it's seen as SF > BOA Maces > Duel Daggers

i have a question. i saw an old rougue twink by da name of Cic an he had assasin's blade on main hand. i havent seen dat dagger in a loooooong time, does any1 kno if it still drops??

I would say double BoA maces. Some people say BoA sword in MH and BoA mace in OH, but getting the sword (over the mace) does not really matter as you are taking 1 crit over 2 haste, which is not that big of a deal, and I personally prefer a little haste in my rogue's set.

If you are looking to use dual daggers, Impish blade in MH with Balanced Heartseeker in OH is supposedly the best. I use Sentinel's Blade in MH.

Even if you are using dual slow weapons over daggers, always keep Impish Blade or Scout's Blade in your bags for the Waylay procs from Backstab.

Yes, it does (though the drop rate is very low). However, it is really only used for transmogrification now (or nostalgia) because you can get better daggers.

Ok, so I see BoA sword/mace MH and mace OH is the best combi for overall good dmg?

and then keep dagger for ambush and backstab?

What would be best overall setup when I have these: 2x Balanced heartseeker, Venerable sacred charge, battleworn thrashblade?

So you suggest dual daggers, why?

And why never ambush with daggers?

You should never ambush with daggers because the white hit after the ambush will be much higher (thus offering more burst) with a slow weapon than with a fast weapon like a dagger. For example:

Scenario 1 with dagger: Ambush target for 500, dagger attack follows behind and crits for 140. 640 total damage.

Scenario 2 with slow wep: Ambush target for 500, attack that follows hits target for 300. 800 total damage.

Thus, a slow weapon is best for Ambush, and speed doesn't count in these scenarios because your first white hit is always instant (which is the hit after Ambush).

Ok thanks alot

Eh no problem...I suggest reading Curley's guide.

Unlike alot of other rogues I do play dual daggers from time to time, and even when I am rolling maces, I have my daggers on me for Backstab utility. That's how I beat Curley
