Well, I've been playing my lvl 1 troll hunter "Twïnk" for a few weeks now and it's been really cool! I see a lot of people say stuff like "lvl 1 twinking is dead since cata" and I don't really know what to think of it since I'm new the game myself. It's just really discouraging and people have even went as far as thinking I'm a gold seller or something when asking for rides and junk. What do you guys do on your lvl 1 twinks? How do you spend your time on them? I myself haven't done a whole-whole lot.. I got the noble title today, I've cracked a few skulls around Goldshire, had all my gear enchanted accordingly, farmed for a cadet's bow!! (no heirlooms.. boo), gathered up some pets, got up to 280 achievement points!!, made a level 5 alt just to make pots & scrolls..... farmed my 150 skinning/herbalism, solo'd a few elites in Redridge Mountains, experienced a crappy change!! (haliscan jacket.. item lvl 1, 13 armor <_< grr..) and I've also been called a dumbass by my lady because "i'm not playing a real twink lvl 10 and up for bg.." pfft! lol



tldr??



Just lemme know what you guys do. I wanna have fun with this thing and not feel obligated to play a 10... Seriously!! Might be more for me though idk lol /facepalm
 
You see the problem is, you are not ally, which means you can't stand on the fence in Goldshire. Thats why you are being handled by the wrath or boredom.

*sigh* the man is tryin to keep the lvl 1 twink down.. for sure.
 
Well, thats what I do on mine ): I admit I dont play my 1s much anymore, 19 and 70s is where its at for me atm.
 
Aslong as you are enjoying the game you're doing it right (no matter what level, class, spec you play), if you want to chill on your level 1 collecting pets and dueling go right ahead and don't let anyone tell you thats not how the game should be played.



Personally I don't spend a lot of time on my twink unless I'm farming something, sadly all the things I have left to do are freaking hard farms and I end up playing less and less (because I cba to do them :D), Noble Garden (that took like 3 hours to finish) was the longest amount of time I'd spent on my twink in like 3-4 months.



I find its good to have something different to play aswell, I have a main char I raid/pvp with and play on 'normally', its nice for the twink to be something I take a break on and chillax rather than something I spend all my time messing about with, If the missus wants to do some level 10 bgs, make a level 10 char and do some bgs with her, then pop back to your level 1 whenever you feel like a change of pace.



Oh and the people calling you a gold seller etc, just ignore them, I've been reported more times than I can count for 'hacking' because most people either don't know level 1 twinking is possible or don't understand it, the funniest one was probably a guy on mmo-champ who thought turning your exp off outside of battlegrounds was a bug that blizzard were going to fix and that no level 1 twinks should exist ever.

I usually farm some achievements from time to time, and hang out in goldshire mostly talking with peeps ;p I also RP sometime, when I have good humor lols.

play horde. Stand in org, make macro giving gold to other level 1s to beat you I would offer about 10k, and another macro just to duel like levels 1-20ish :] passed my time
 
Haq: People just make fun tell you your not doing it right etc because they are bored and just want to troll someone. Do not take ANY of this to heart. I personaly hang around with my lvl 1 guildmates whenever I play on my lvl 1 usualy we find something to do wether it to be just to duel or like go kill hogger or knock some horde skulls. We also might do a little achieve pts farming. Haq, it's up to you what you want to do and what you take to heart. If you're not having fun it's not worth it remember that.

You can make vids for youtube too.

just be creative, do what you feel for.

Waiting for 85s with pvp on to lose a duel so that you can respawn and deal that last 1dmg and get 6 honor is fun ^^
