Strengths - Distracting and baiting a team, solo returns in premades, combat saps, team player. Predicting positioning / realtime strategy. I'm always original and doing things different ways. I have many, many, many tricks up my sleeves. Kind of like the coach who when the game is on the line, I've got this old school retro sneak play that we use once to clutch win kind of thing.... I'm a really badass team player so repicks, offheals, peeling, sacrificing myself etc.
Weaknesses - I have new controllers constantly and have to keep changing my binds and I've been really struggling for the past few months since my return to settle on my binds... I am horrible at fake casting. I don't play any particularly OP classes / specs and I enjoy specs that fall mid damage chart so I'm never recognized as being the damage king or anything like that. I don't group queue so I'm seen on the losing scoreboard. I'm on a "ghost" realm and keep to myself. I'm horrible at arena, but I really don't enjoy arena so this isn't an issue to me. I have a hard time with quick targeting sometimes if I'm trying to do so on the fly mid melee range combat. I really set aside my main class in Cata to start playing more for the community instead of myself so I don't really stand out as an exceptional healer or FC as I'll always be an old school rogue at heart and I'll always admit to being pretty horrible at healing / FCing. I may not be the best at current rogue (especially how I'm no longer nelf) but I really play PUGs for fun... not for any best of 19s lists.
What I mean by the strategy strength... Some people once they join a game are really good at predicting a team vs team clash (Pizza for example is great at this) and knowing how the class compositions will work in an attempted clash so he'll adjust accordingly. I'm not really that guy since I'm always coming and going and the meta is always changing. But when it comes to combat strategies I'm typically pretty good at predicting when and where people are / how to cut them off / their energies so I can bait someone who's tunneling me for a personal kill and tie up 2-3 opposing players and bring them to an irrelevant part of the map, or weaken a team's mid unit by a combat sap on their healer or a quick open kick. Really taking advantage of other people's aggressiveness is my thing. I'm a pretty defensive player as I was never the +5 weapon damage AB ambush EFC dropper, I was more of the lifesteal + dodge + focus gogue / kick / bomb type of player.
One thing people really need to know about me is that I was die hard 19 competitive twinker up until my guild went on hiatus after Shield Bashed By Heysus in Ruin. To me no guild will ever give me the satisfaction that I had back in the day premading with Mayhem and a few other guilds. I know that the time for 19s for me has passed and I'm really not interested in being a dominant premading figure or competitive figure in today's game. When I do get asked to do wargames a lot of that aggressiveness comes back like how I used to solo return fairly constantly and I remember filling in for some MOP wargames and I was able to solo a defense or at least come awfully close to doing so before my offense could even enter their base. Now I'd rather help pass on some tricks or knowledge that I have to newer players who may want to really step up to the plate competitively. I care mainly about PUGs and I'm 99% casual and have been really since the introduction of Shadowstep in Cata when 19s REALLY changed.
