An evil agenda for the big corporations (RIAA & MPAA) who rely heavily on the copyright infringement law. If this bill is passed, it will have a huge ripple effect. They already got the PRO-IP act passed which increases penalties for copyright infringement.

Stop American Censorship!

edit: if you're interested wiki has some good information on the subject (SOPA)

Yeah its super creepy, glad im not living in the states...Think there is another thread about already
<

What could I possibly expect from you Americunts, you live in your own protective bubble, having no idea what happens in the other continents. But how does it even matter, you wouldn't care anywayz.

inb4: falkor rages and says something "funny" about Europe

there's ppl starving in the world and you're creepy enough to care about a non-existent conspiracy.

I don't eat all my food on my plate btw.. I throw it away.

Sometimes I take 1 bite and decide I'm not hungry.

edit: oh yea.. it's not a conspiracy. It's a bill there trying to pass ****tard, which would also give America the authority to take action against people in other countries which they have no control over atm.

Judging by your "size", I doubt that. Highly.

16 .. figures.

You have no idea bro. You're still young. Maybe one day you'll wake up. btw, I was there when the Berlin wall came down. I lived 13 years in Germany, so don't talk to me about having no idea what goes on in other countries son.

Think of it this way:

How did Justin Bieber become famous? He posted videos on youtube of himself singing copy-written songs by various pop stars. If SOPA is passed, that would make Justin Bieber an outlaw, and would give him 5 years in a federal prison. This rule basically applies to anyone who's ever covered a song on youtube... so no most likely it's a lost cause.

It would be great for anti-SOPA advocates to adopt Justin Bieber as their mascot >.<

so... 12 year old girls have a saying in this?

you're just mad because you're doing an illegal act and is afraid of getting caught. Just like one of those simple theivs.

Pretty sure that the act had much larger implications than simply stopping "internet piracy".

P.S. You're a narrow minded tool.

Save the whales.
