Stonetalon quest chain to get the highe ilvl gear for 20s?

Yeah, it's worth it. To give you an idea:
Lucky Fishing Hat has 16 Stamina.
Krom'gar Cloth Helm has 10 Intellect + 12 Stamina.

It's worth it, and it doesn't take very long.

Apparently you can also farm the vendor for disenchant mats. Is there a good vendor for enchantment recipes that isn't usually picked over (i.e. starter areas).

The quests don't give the gear directly. You unlock "ranks" in the army and can buy gear from the quartermaster depending on the rank. The wowhead comments for the gear/vendor have a pretty good breakdown if I remember right.

I can confirm the vendor is awesome for disenchant mats, especially for f2p. Unfortunately, they mats tend to be for higher level enchants, lol.
