Stitchflesh Misplaced Signet bugged

Hello. Was trying to get the ring from Necrotic Wake with my resto shammie LVL 11. After more than a dozen tries, it finally dropped.... with 252 ilvl and only usable at 50 LVL??!!!? So useless. Decided to go on a few more tries and to see if it drops with correct ilvl and got the Blightborne Spaulders with the same ilvl and usable at 50 LVL. Submitted a ticket and got a response from a GM saying that is a known bug. Here is a crop from the response:

" It looks like the item levels for rings like Stichflesh's Misplaced Signet and other loot are indeed dropping at higher levels than they should for characters around level 11. This is a known issue, and our team is already looking into it. While I can't provide a fix right now, I recommend keeping an eye on future updates, as our developers are working hard to resolve this."

Already submitted the bug also.

Yep, if you dont do the oribos skip then it doesnt bug the loot, been sying this for weeks now

Well im pretty sure i didnt use the Skip on Oribos. But that could had happen. Not 100% accurate on that.

Is it just the initial skip with the lich kings helm or cant you skip at any moment? I did the entire maw and I'm in oribos now and it gave me the option to skip level up campaign to unlock world content, unsure what to do now

DO NOT do the skip in Oribos! The Maw skip is OK.

if you have done the 4 zone campaign, on alts there is option to skip campaign and unlock world content. if you take the option some dungeons and WQ the loot flips to req level 50+

if you are able to do this on a pure F2P (not attached to a main bnet acct) i would unlock world content, the gold from some of the world quests is huge. this was instant northrend enchanting and instant banks slots on day zero and eight 18-slot bags (got three bigger bags from drops/quest) by day three. this makes up for not being able to do mechagon zone chests and dailies

Sorry. I meant that I already did entire Intro and The Maw part and now am in Oribos. It gives me the option to do the entire campaign or unlock world quests. What do I do from here?

That's the dilemma. I have to do the campaign if I want to get to Bastion for the dungeon. So I have to progress the story until I get there so I don't get the lvl 50 bug

something is wrong then:

Without any shadow lands progress I was able to run dungeons


Fresh toon:

1) I entered Shadowlands chromie time
2) I took the 1st skip from stormwind “maw skip”

Ran dungeons for months without ever having done a quest

When the new skip came out the “2nd Skip” that you’d take from oribos then I started to have the issues with things requiring level 50

It sounds to me like one of the following is happening:

1) you’re not in SL chromie time (dungeon mobs will be unscaled too)
2) if you’re in SL Chromie time you took the skip and you don’t realize it (mobs will scale to your level but loot will be lv 50 req)

if you can't fly to bastion from oribos because the FP is not showing, you need to continue doing the campaign to where you get flown to bastion

You could probably just get level1 SL eng and use the wormhole generator toy

ok, so I did take both skips and even did some questing on my 10 monk back when I was f2p. Have been grinding out the TW dungeons while they are up. Just resubscribed tonight and thought I should finally get the 4 extra sockets with these 2 rings now. Well, sob they are all to high now! I have other 10/11 twinks and didn’t have this issues back when I made them. So I messed up. Is this toon screwed? Is there anything I can do to fix it on this toon? He’s already bis on his other gear so he’s not bad just really wanted these. Thanks

you can trade from other 10/11 characters in the same instance. Otherwise you’re screwed until a fix is made
