I'm thinking that maybe I made a mistake going from 45 to 49. The reason I did it was because I figured 49 was like the top of the 40s pvp bracket n maybe I'd do some BGs. Cept nobody does BGs ( well maybe at max lvl ). Anyway I've come to the conclusion ( a bit too late ) that 45s are the best option. They get 163 items from Mythic Antorus, WoD timewalking (warforged ), a few items from Classic timewalking, Legendaries and the Heart of Azeroth neck scales better. All in all 45s have it pretty sweet. So what am I going to do? have been thinking of maybe going to level 50. It'll open up Nazjatar to me and the BFA raids and BFA mythics and the arathi islands thingy ( If it's still a thing ) and BFA world quests ( if they're still a thing ) maybe higher lvl island expeditions. Should get more Azerite for my kneck. Not going to rush into it though. What do you guys think?
45s are really really really stable. You don't get PvP anyway, but for PvE they are huge fun (I just started learning how to solo world bosses on my crappy vengeance demonhunter and it's insanely fun tanking 4milion hp bosses) not to mention I've seen someone soloing actual Legion raids, WTF. Just like
@Furiosodemar mentioned, you can stack secondaries to insane levels and you have access to all kinds of cool stuff (Heart of Azeroth, Legiondaries, Azerite gear, Antorus, Mage Tower challenges, you can farm Honor from the Legion PvP world quests, etc). At 50 you get some extra goodies, yes, like Nazjatar, HoA essences and BfA legendary cloak, but for me 45 just scratches that itch.
I just hope I can improve my char, that guide I linked somewhere in this thread is still very good, though I saw that he stopped playing wow.
