The only thing I remember is, it took me about a week to get 2 rings. However It could have been pure luck.

Id say the grind is equal to farming Foreman Thistlenettle for this or this.

From my experience anyways.

I caught both stendels within a 5 hour range.

I've fished up around 15ish of those... Most it took me was around 40 banes for 1 ring, and 6k casts for dual rings Gotten lucky a couple of times aswell, getting the ring within 5-10 banes. So it could be an hour to get two, or it could be a day or two to get one. All about dat RNG.

This Higher Learning - Achievement - World of Warcraft was pretty awful. It's even worse now with merged and CRZ'd realms. If you mean gear grinds specifically, RoP,MTB, Doomspike farms are pretty soul crushing. Chest farming can be rough too.

In total I've caught about 35-40 rings, I'd say my average was around 20 banes per ring. Roughly 2hrs fishing per ring. Once I caught 2 banes in a row and both had rings though so RNG really does prevail. Whether you choose to fish legitamately or bot it is up to you. I think it's perhaps clear which method I chose given the volume of rings

I went over to Stendel's lake, equipped a strong fishing pole, applied nightcrawlers and made a cast. 1st cast, stendels bane, which contained wedding band. that escalated quickly.
