State of 80 twinks

Long time wow player here that’s been gone for 3+ years. 80 twinks were by far my favorite time in wow so I’ll be committing a couple hours/day to get some gear and PvP ready. Are BG pops often? Are there a lot of twinks out there? Believe I’ll be heading over to Pagle alliance as I know there’s a small guild there. Nice to be back! Watch out for a frost mage bc that’s what I played last time!
