Starter to Veteran Acct gold making tips

This is a long shot, but you could try to farm Chan's Imperial Robes on a DK on Moon Guard. It used to be essentially removed from the game (mob was too low level to drop it anymore) now it seems to have been made into a world drop. It has been reported as dropping from the relic coffers in Blackrock Mountain and from the chests you get by turning in drops from rares in Blasted Lands (those are also zone drops).

Obviously, Moon Guard is an RP realm (a popular one, at that) this item sells for a lot on none RP-realms. On Moon Guard you could easily make enough to get just about anything you want, in terms of gear, enchants, boas, etc. If not, at least a decent chunk of change.

Things like pets aren't going to get you much gold, most of the "old world" pets are so common now you won't make much. If you're linked and or have a high level toon, you can farm the new raid pets. I made about 50k or more off of them. The prices are dropping though.

There's 'rare' breeds of pets like Gilnean Raven and Shore Crawler. If you find the right person these breeds are collectibles. Particulerly, Gilnean Raven in the P/S and S/S breed. I know a lot of F2Ps have these breeds.

P/S or power/speed raven will have the following stats:

Health: 148
Power: 11
Speed: 11

S/S or speed/speed raven will have the following stats:

Health: 148
Power: 10
Speed: 12

The other breeds aren't anything special.

Lastly, https://theunderminejournal.com, check it often and you might find some good deals/flips.

Lvl up a priest is a little faster but I don't think you can lvl up a character 1 to 10 in less than 20mins (or I waste too much time in travel time). 1 to 7 in 20mins is possible.

if you want to gather gold before upgrading, take up archaeology and keep the items to sell after you upgrade

That's a bad news to hear.

I've tried archaeology on my linked F2P account, and it's still working. I able to make and use enchanted scrolls too. Somebody said he can't apply these as veteran. It seems veteran accounts are more restricted in some ways. Now I wonder, are there any more?

If you cannot do something and it is not something listed as a restriction on the starter account page, I would report it as a bug. also open a ticket and tweet a Dev about it.

Just an update about one thing I suggested. I made about 4k gold during the Darkmoon Faire selling the quest items.

so now people have said about professions on vets that:
- they cannot create any items > 100 skill level for primary professions, first aid and cooking.
- they cannot do archaeology at all.
- they can level up fishing no problem.

only primary profession limitation is the same as trial but the secondary professions are bugged. if you want to mention that in a bug report, it would be beneficial for all vets if they fix it

Contacted a GM about it:

He wasn't familiar with the issue, but at the very least he didn't say that this is working as intended (phew!).

I'm not getting my hopes up for a fix anytime soon, though.
