EU+US Starter Edition(F2P) "What If" Level Cap increased to 60!

Hi, i wish to talk about IF f2p cap increases to 60 and starters have the chance to enter Molten Core, BWL raids. Wod Cats and Legion Survival Hunters killed the f2p PVP community you all know that. We had Veteran Accounts with Shiny Enchants with WOD. F2p spirit were lost with those enchants. We had Veteran Guilds but that was the end of F2P add-on communication. Those twink servers were all dead with this.

Do you remember the days we almost instant(a few seconds) que times even in xpoff bracket in Pandaria? Do you remember F2P World PVP events? I've checked the servers a month ago and not seen a single friendly old face. I just wanted to ask you if level cap increase bring back f2p community. What do you think?
 
Don't see any reasons for this. There are two types of new players.
1. a new person who want to start 100% fresh (less of those)
2. a new person who want to get straight in to action (more of those)

Current system with lvl 100 trial + starter/veteran edition up to level 20 covers everything those two groups would want to achieve. With starter edition you get the feel of how proffesion / dungen / battlegrounds and quest lines works ingame. It gives rather extended version of the game for free. In my opinion this is more than enough for a person of (1) group.

Those who don't find wow attractive wont even level past level 10 in many cases.

Mass zone scaling is more probable than level cap bump.
in many aspects this will lead to basically same opportunities as what you seek in level 60.

In all seriousness... could be cool but I really love level 20. If 60 would happen, Crystal would be abandoned.

SPQR pretty much covered why I think that wont happen though.
 
The point is are you playing for challenge ? Or you are out of Money and you want more content? I returned recently back to f2p cause i miss the fun and the tough stuff that i was trying to complete... lvl60 will contain more but seriously how many players done even 1\3 of Crystal's achievements?How many tried to break their limits? Probably people want more content for free than challenge...
 
Im with @SPQR in that i think we'll see mass zone level scaling first.

I actually think we'll see it in the next xpac. Blizz has no interest in giving starter accounts more content but they do have an interest in making the game more accessible.

Removing the "where the fuck do i go next?" leveling question speeds leveling, which is why they did it for legion. I could totally see them deciding that they like the feel of that and expanding it game wide.

Which would be, i think, a double edged sword. On the one hand, sweet. We get more accessible content, more achievements become available, more gear options and xmogs, etc.

On the other, it would remove our "hard" content, which would be a bummer for a lot of our more hardcore pve enthusiasts.

I think another reason they would introduce scaling is to bring some life to zones. Leveling is so quick now you never complete a zone by the time you out level it's content. Or let's say there are multiple zones of the same level bracket (20-25, 30-35, etc.). It's extremely hard to ever get around to every zone that matches your level.

I agree it removes some challenge but it opens up the game in a new and exciting way.
 
Questing is, what about zone drops or rare mobs?

For instance The Pacifier 2H mace.. would that be removed or would it scale suddenly?
