Standard scope still obtainable within boxes on gnomeregan

I’ve tried to get the standard scope

for this camera

out of this boxes within gnomeregan

I’ve looted approximately 30 boxes but don’t get one standard scope.

does someone know from personal experience if this scope is still available in this boxes for lvl 20?

No idea but you can just make one with engineering.

Yes, it does. You can also look for such boxes in Deadmines, it might be easier to farm.

does the standard scope scale up in a BG over a crude scope?

i farmed the standard scope years ago, after the squishes, all my ranged weapons show +1, have the crude scope on some and standard on what used to be my main BIS weap

If my observations are correct, then it doesn't really matter which, crude or standard, scope you use.
Your best, on my opinion, legal gun-enchantment would be https://www.wowhead.com/item=10548/ that grant +6 dmg to Arcanshot in the world and +7 on BG, but schematic for this pretty hard to obtain, so you may look for https://www.wowhead.com/item=10546/.
If you have https://www.wowhead.com/item=105683 then you should also try https://www.wowhead.com/item=70139, https://www.wowhead.com/item=77529 or https://www.wowhead.com/item=158203 to see what fits you better.

Uh, none of what's said above is relevant in 2022 get yer self a deadly scope for +2 recipe is available at a vendor, sniper scope scales to +3 now,
Diamond cut refractor scope on a heirloom is +7

Nah like, exalted farming pirates, run so many dungeons, completely cleared eastern kingdoms of quests, halfway through kalimdor, seems like it doesn't drop at 20 but im still chugging along trying here n there

I am also trying to get myself a SS, but I have been trying at Bloodmyst Isle because the spawns are so much easier to access - after a lot of opens I'm starting to think that the boxes in Gnomer are a higher level and therefore have access to higher level loot (e.g. standard scope) than the ones on Bloodmyst Isle. I've gotten a few crude scopes, but no luck so far with SS. Am I wasting my time opening boxes on Bloodmyst ?

No idea how things work after the level squish. But if its unchanged from when I farmed my standard scope hmm 9 years ago fk. Then yes bloodmyst isle and deadmines are wastes of time.
