Solo dungeon - no loot?

I just started to solo dungeons with my f2p. Don't you get loot from bosses, when you solo? I never get any item from loot table. Is this normal?

You have the same chance to get items solo as you would in a group. Its ~2/5 chance to get one item from your specs loot table from a boss.

Also, classes have different chance to get the same gear, and different chance even for different spec on the same class.
For example: Book of the Dead, from Stratholme. Monk mistweaver has better chance to get it than a priest, also a shadow priest has higher chance to get it rather than a holy/disci priest.

Sometimes you dont get anything, it happens. It's not really a great way to gear up... maybe ok for a single item.

Like I solo the first boss in eye of azshara when I want the tank trinket cuz legion legacy loot is borked and doesnt drop 2.

edit- but it also wont drop if you're not a tank then either... so I solo in legacy mode, lol.
