So who's still playing at 80?

Nobody responded yet so i'll go ahead..

I really don't think anyone plays in this bracket anymore, I don't even play WoW anymore but looking at the forums it is pretty dead like every other bracket in the game.

Anybody playing at 80 still? Sucks that 5.4 killed the bracket, I think it's still op but I guess others disagree

i still play the bracket... well, sometimes a few cata dungeons / wotlk raids, thats pretty much all you can do now

I am also still playing and enjoy it, as a dk tank i didn't lost anything important, for example i lost 10k health (from 95k hp to 85k), 20% parry chance (from 95% to 75%), the damage remained almost the same but it was a big hit to the herald gear, i went down from 57k health to 40k health, i don't remember other stats because i stacked stamina enchants/gems.

then where do you post? no tink sites?

Occasionally on MMO-Champion, outside of that virtually nowhere. Issue is that people on internet forums often argue pointlessly, and I just don't see the point in it anymore. Any twink discussion I do is between my guild and anyone who has me on RealID. :)

That class changes still makes Naxx way easier I guess?

Well maybe, i'm not 100% certain alot has changed over the years, spells dissappeared and came. I think overall it might be easier just because of nerfs back in the day, altho it's still really fun to go back to the gear/gems/enchants from the good ol' times :)

Are there any 80's currently left on US realms, I really am interested in 80 twinking. I loved WoTLK and Cata raids still seem viable if not challenging. I'm seeing that EU is starting projects about iLvl 200 naxx raids and I think thats awesome but i'm not seeing US have any activity. Is there anyone who still plays on US, and whats the best faction, Alliance or Horde. I'm willing to server xfer.

Mind if I ask why you chose to allow Naxx 10/25 gear for that raiding? It seems a bit unrealistic since most people would not have had much (if any) raid gear whilst progressing, especially not 213s in 10man (and if i remember right, world first guilds cleared it in mostly level 70 gear anyway). The content should already be a lot easier with the class/talent changes, weapon damage being doubled, "free" base mastery, crazy str->parry conversion for tanks, and probably several more changes :p

how is the bracket?

im thinking about this or 85

is there regular pops and are there active competition

sounds like a lot of fun really

is it active on US and EU

hopefully see you guys

While I realize the previous poster was banned but my cata sub just expired so I f eel like I could share some information

Arenas are rough (I may be doing something wrong though) as healer/dps as dps/dps Is supreme. Rogues hurt like hell, dks do insane damage, and hunters just tear your face off w/o trying (mm in arenas/BM in bgs)

Rogues can be frustrating, 1vs1 can be ok but when 2 geared ones stick to your nuts all game that gets frustrating. Smacked them into a stun and d something... Desipher? Deliver? Something like that. Next 2 games they came crawlin up my pants 2v1 style like I had just stole their wallets.

Or getting hunters low and then getting 3 shot and outplayed by their pets makes me want to afk though

In my personal opinion geared hunters/rogues/frost dks/rets rule the bracket and arenas. Warriors do really well too. The first two require the least amount of gold to get the bang for your buck.

Every other class does decent but need some time to setup their casts or is inferior to the above four. Don't except a lot of competiton. If a premade rolls through they win, and good games are rare and far in between. Its mostly something like a few twinks and a bunch of ungeared people thrown in
