So um, about AGM in 6.2....

Is it being removed or is it now a requirement to getting the returning and defending trinkets?
 
We will know for sure when 6.2 drops.
Unless someone has tested it is on the PTR. I have not even updated my PTR for 6.2.

What I think is that the chest will contain a heirloom piece + Arena Master. Not sure on droprate on the heirlooms tho.

Either way it would be best to get your AGM before 6.2, because 100's will probs be camping it to get their heirlooms.
 
It is always best to plan ahead. Failing to plan is planning to fail I always say.

I have not bothered with AGM in a long long time. I suppose it has been since the BM trinket has came out. For my style of play and for the class(es)/specs I play, the BM trinket is better for me. I am sure for DPS classes it is still BiS.

The new one may be better, who knows. I will enlist some help to obtain it just to add it to my collection. I would imagine the best time to go would be during the DMF.

Absorb from AGM is quite nice as a stealth dps class, especially when you don't have a priest with you
 
I got the DC a week ago on my first try on my EU twink pally. I've tried to get it on my 100 lvl pally 3 times in a row, but didn't get it, so I guess we can confirm that you do actually need the AGM in order to get it.

Did you ask anyone who snagged it?

And what do you mean by you need agm? Does one have to complete all 12 trinkets for it?

Could just have been due to drop chance not being 100%

Btw, are the arena masters still dropping from chest?
 
Hmm.. I figured it may have been account wide since achievements are account wide now. Maybe you have to have the trinket in you bag or in bank.
That could prove to be an issue for my 100.

Interesting, I've heard recently from a member on TI that AGM still drops according to PTR from the gurubashi chest as a requirement to get the boa trinket.

No, I haven't yet asked anyone about it and no I don't believe you need 12 arena master trinkets for an heirloom trinket, that wouldn't make any sense imo.

Alright so we are left with 2 possibilities;
1. The BoA trinket has a xx% drop chance (not 100%)
2. When you get AGM, (on a character, doesn't work account wide) the next arena chest that you loot will contain the heirloom trinket.

And bear in mind that the Darkmoon Death Match chest contains a trinket with same stats as the Gurubashi Trinket, it is just called Returning Champion afaik.
